Shi Ji was originally a stubborn stone on Skeleton Mountain. After cultivating for ten thousand years, she attained the Dao and joined the Jie Sect, though she remained an overlooked outer disciple with shallow backing. She established White Bone Cave on Skeleton Mountain and endured the prejudice directed at beings born from non-human origins. 1 2 29

For thousands of years, Shi Ji unknowingly kept the sealed Qin Feng company by speaking near the ordinary stone outside her cave. Her presence prevented him from losing himself to isolation. 1 441
