Background

Qian Renxue was dispatched to the Heaven Dou Empire shortly after Ye Kai was brought into Martial Soul Hall. Before her departure, she and Ye Kai had already spent considerable time together; his efforts helped prevent open conflict between her and Hu Liena around him. 1

Operating under the identity of Xue Qinghe, she infiltrated Heaven Dou's royal court as a prince. Her early efforts against the Second and Third Princes—particularly repeated poisonings—were judged too hasty, as they attracted Emperor Xue Ye's and Prince Xue Xing's attention. 12

When Ye Kai visited Heaven Dou City, he persuaded her to treat the Kingdom Usurpation Plan as a long-term political project rather than a simple replacement of the royal family.
