Disciple Obito Uchiha has set a training mission.

Looking at the several pop-up windows that had suddenly appeared, Mu Yue fell into thought.

Although he did not know what had happened, the outcome was quite good.

With two training missions, plus the rewards from exam results, his Chakra would definitely break into five digits by the end of this semester.

Unfortunately, the Practical Exam would not allow tied first place. There had to be a first and second, meaning one mission's reward was destined to be worse.

"What if I arranged for one of them to have an accident that prevented them from taking the exam, then delayed it until next semester? Would that be better?" Mu Yue seriously considered the question.

Mu Yue hesitated somewhat. He was confident that he could pull it off.

But he could not guarantee that it was the optimal solution. Since two training missions had never appeared at the same time before, Mu Yue had assumed that each person could have at most one training mission.

If one of them delayed completing the mission until next semester's Monthly Exam, there would be nearly three months in between during which no new training mission could be triggered.

Extending the mission duration might increase the base reward, but could that really be more profitable than completing more training missions?

Based on the training mission trigger mechanism, it was entirely possible that the disciple who took second place would feel dissatisfied and immediately trigger another mission to take first.

Mu Yue decided to play it by ear. First, he would plan out Obito and Might Guy's next training programs. After all, regardless of the result, increased strength meant greater rewards. That would not change.

On Tuesday morning, Anko hummed an unknown tune as she happily headed toward the Ninja Academy.

She had taken leave from school on Monday, and with the two days of the Weekend added in, she had gone three days without hearing Mu Yue-sensei's lessons or playing with her best buddies.

That was why Anko was especially looking forward to school today.

"Will Mu Yue-sensei think I'm sick and ask after me? Did Izumo and Kotetsu win the prize money from the competition? I can't wait." The more Anko thought about it, the more she felt that going to school had something to look forward to.

"That's Anko Mitarashi, right? One of that three-person talent group."

"It's her. I remember her—she was second in the grade's practical exam last time."

"Second in practical combat? That's strong. Too bad her way of thinking is a little strange."

As Anko neared the school and more students appeared, she noticed quite a few of them looking at her strangely.

"Does no one usually take leave at the Ninja Academy? Did the whole school hear just because I took a day off?" Anko assumed it was because of her absence.

Muttering to herself, Anko headed toward the Class 1-1 classroom.

The closer she got to the classroom, the more strange looks she noticed. Gradually, she began to sense that something was wrong.

When she entered the classroom, she found something unusual. Izumo Kamizuki and Kotetsu Hagane were not chatting; instead, they had their heads buried in their desks, as if they were asleep.

Usually, when she arrived, the two were either discussing how to deal with Izumo Kamizuki's troublesome cousin or talking about meeting girls.

Anko was about to return to her seat and wake them up to ask what was going on when a girl she was fairly close with called out to her.

"Anko, you've become famous at the Ninja Academy these past two days." The girl covered her mouth, struggling to hold back her laughter.

"Huh? I haven't even been at school these past few days. Don't tell me taking leave for one day was enough to make me famous?" Anko scratched her hair, unable to make sense of it.

"Did you develop that Ninjutsu that creates chairs?" the girl asked, still trying not to laugh.

"Creates chairs? You mean the Deception Technique? Sort of. Izumo, Kotetsu, and I developed it together," Anko answered.

The girl finally could not hold it in anymore. Smiling, she said, "Haha, you should ask your two best buddies."

"Izumo, Kotetsu, did you two not sleep well last night?" Growing even more confused, Anko chose to wake up her two best buddies.

But you could never wake someone who was pretending to sleep. The two seemed to have fallen into a deep slumber; even after Anko called out several times, neither woke up.

Most girls might have let it go at that point, or maybe poked them with a finger. But Anko was different.

Once she confirmed that her best buddies were faking sleep, Anko punched each of them.

"Are you hiding something from me?" Anko asked suspiciously.

Knowing they could not keep pretending, the two opened their eyes.

"It's all Kotetsu's fault! He embarrassed himself on stage and dragged us into it," Izumo Kamizuki immediately sold out his best buddy, telling Anko about the Weekend competition.

"He deliberately shouted out our full names! His intentions are unforgivable!" Izumo Kamizuki stood beside Anko, indignantly condemning Kotetsu Hagane.

Her fists clenched. So that was it. She knew taking a single day off could not have caused all this—Kotetsu Hagane had made a fool of himself and dragged her down with him.

Seeing Anko cracking her knuckles, Kotetsu quickly revealed Izumo Kamizuki's brilliant idea from yesterday.

"Anko, don't believe him. Izumo's got a traitor's bone in the back of his head. Yesterday, he was the one who suggested that since you weren't there, we should just pin everything on you and say you developed all the Ninjutsu."

Anko: ...

She turned her gaze toward Izumo Kamizuki, her eyes already filled with killing intent.

She had even been thinking yesterday that if the two of them won the prize money, they could treat her to sweet dumplings. Instead, these two good brothers were better at stabbing her in the back than the other.

"You two are both awful. Get beaten up together!" Anko grabbed Kotetsu Hagane with her left hand and Izumo Kamizuki with her right.

The two good brothers knew they were in the wrong and could only flee. For a while, the classroom grew even more cheerful.

It was not until Mu Yue-sensei arrived that the farce finally came to an end.

"Mu Yue-sensei, my reputation has been ruined. Now I'm not Genius Anko, I'm Talented Anko." Anko complained with a depressed look.

"As long as they're not calling you mediocre, everyone still recognizes your strength." Mu Yue smiled as he comforted her.

"I still think genius sounds better."

"Then prove yourself with your strength next time."

"Will there be sweet dumplings if I do well on the test?"

"If you do well."

"Yay!" Upon hearing that doing well would earn her sweet dumplings, Anko instantly swept away her unhappiness and smiled again.

Just then, the class bell rang.

"Class begins." Mu Yue started that day's lesson.

He patiently explained the three basic Ninjutsu taught at the Ninja Academy.

It was a good idea, but Mu Yue knew it could not be done for the time being. The Ninja Academy's rules stated that, aside from Ninjutsu theory, only the Three Basic Jutsu could be taught in Ninjutsu classes.

Mu Yue could somewhat understand this rule.

There were forty students in a class, each born with different Chakra Natures. They could not possibly expect a Chunin Teacher to know Ninjutsu of all five Chakra Natures, and the students' learning abilities also had to be considered.
