To be honest, Qin Yang had never been able to determine with absolute certainty which route the Chou Ge Beast would take after going to such lengths.

He had leaned toward the Sacred Tree route. Every move the Chou Ge Beast had made revealed one thing: he was racing against time. If time was of the essence, this route was the fastest, and under the current circumstances, its risks were actually the lowest.

But he truly could not be one hundred percent certain. What if the Patrol Envoys had dispatched their experts, leaving the base empty, while the Chou Ge Beast instead charged into the Patrol Envoy Base? They genuinely could not dare mobilize all their strength on a gamble. They could not afford to lose.

For that very reason, Qin Yang had ordered the Patrol Envoys to hold the base to the death while he himself came to the Sacred Tree, making preparations on both fronts.
