Innate Divine Path

Without realizing it, an era passed. Li Fan connected with his True God Dao Fruit, breaking through the final barrier. His cultivation reached the Venerable God Realm.

His mind and will also ascended to the Venerable God Realm, and he emerged from seclusion. The Great Yin Array was still in operation.

Li Fan studied his Innate Inheritance and deduced a body-refining technique: "Nine Refinements of the World."

It was simple: open up a Minor World and use the power of the world to refine the body. The progress was slow but effective. The core principle was simple and brutal: let the Minor World suffer a bit so that I can improve first, and then I will bring you along to upgrade your world level later.

It seemed he still had to go out and gain experience; Li Fan was too poor. Li Fan could open up a Minor World, but he had to find the corresponding Treasures, whether innate or acquired.

It wasn't as if he could just conjure a Minor World out of thin air; he couldn't do that.

Wangshu turned toward the sound and asked with a smile, "What is so fragrant?"

"I was just saying that the Moon Laurel Flowers on the Moon Laurel Tree have bloomed, so fragrant. Great Goddess, you have come out of seclusion, hehe."

Li Fan thought to himself that since he was born on Taiyin Star, he also had a stake in this Moon Laurel Tree.

Beneath Li Fan's feet, with this Taiyin Star and 120 main stars as the core, plus over three thousand auxiliary stars, they formed a perfect Great Thousand World: the Taiyin Star Domain.

The main stars were all at the Great Thousand World level, some strong and some weak. They were all very desolate; the Star Gods had not yet been born. Under the protection of Mount Zhou, they were hidden away to slowly gestate; otherwise, they would be found by God-Demons sooner or later. After all, the defensive level of a Great Thousand World was not safe enough.

The auxiliary stars were composed of Medium Worlds and Minor Worlds. There were not as many as in the later Witch-Demon Era. When Pangu opened the heavens, he only managed 365 Zhou Tian Stars, and these Zhou Tian Stars were still slowly evolving.

"Great Goddess, now that you have come out of seclusion, can you tell me how to attain the Da Luo Venerable God realm?"

Wangshu spoke slowly, "There is only one chance to attain the Dao of the Da Luo Venerable God: condense your own Dao Fruit and transcend the River of Time within the Primordial World."

"If you fail the breakthrough, even if you are lucky enough to survive, your Dao Fruit will be dragged to the bottom of the River of Time. Some of the Demon Gods suppressed by Pangu are there. Only a Hunyuan Grand Unity has the hope of fishing your Dao Fruit out."

"If you are afraid, once your comprehension of the Laws reaches a certain level, you will also possess Da Luo Battle Power."

Morning hearing the Dao, evening death is acceptable! Li Fan was thinking about Da Luo Battle Power, but his self-preservation ability was too poor. He must attain the Da Luo Dao Fruit; he wanted to advance too badly!

Wangshu's tone was resonant and firm: "Well said! If you lack the courage to forge ahead, do not even think about attaining the Da Luo Dao Fruit."

"The current mainstream is the Innate Divine Path, but there are two directions: God and Dao Aligned and God Merged with Dao. This is also a form of choosing sides. Which path will you choose?"

"The logic is simple. One is to copy the Dao of the Primordial World to help perfect it, or you can just do your own thing and only hold the authority of the Divine Path. The other is to merge yourself into the Primordial World."

"The downside of God and Dao Aligned is that the cultivation speed is slow. God Merged with Dao is the idea of a madman; everyone knows that the Dao Fruits of the Chaos Demon Gods are within the Primordial World."

Wangshu continued, "In the entire Primordial World, there are only three gods on the surface who practice God Merged with Dao: the Three Sovereigns of Heaven and Earth."

"They want to steal the Dao, or rather, dye the Dao of the Chaos Demon Gods. The Three Sovereigns all have Supreme Treasures and profound cultivation. You lack this foundation, so do not try to imitate them. This is a shortcut straight to the Hunyuan Grand Unity Venerable God realm."

"One thought to become a god, one thought to become a demon." Li Fan responded, Good grief, everyone at the beginning of the creation of the world is so daring.

Wangshu said coldly, "Yes, that is exactly what I mean. The Demon Gods are not dead yet."

Li Fan felt he was already approaching the truth behind the destruction of this era! The duel between Gods and Demons, the great war between the Heavenly Gods and Earthly Spirits and the Chaos Demon Gods.

This was also a part of the Primordial World's self-evolution, an inevitability.

"Can I choose neither? Is there no non-mainstream path? All the good world authority has been carved up, right?"

Wangshu's tone carried a hint of lightness, "You can. Now, some great gods in the Primordial World have introduced another path, a path completely opposite to the Divine Path, called the Qi Refinement Path."

"There are two concepts in Qi Refinement: Order and Chaos. Order was introduced by four of the Five Elder Lords: Hongjun of Yujing Mountain, Yinyang, Qiankun, and Diandao. These four great gods live in the eastern part of the Primordial World."

Li Fan thought to himself, Is this the origin of the Immortal Dao? Cultivating Immortals!

Wangshu said solemnly, "The concept of Chaos was created by the White Emperor Luohu and a monk among the Five Elder Lords. It speaks of the path of Great Freedom Qi Refinement. These two great gods both live in the western part of the Primordial World."

This was the embryonic form of the Demonic Dao and Buddhism.

Wangshu continued, "Qi Refinement emphasizes the Primordial Spirit; it refines the True Spirit within the Primordial Spirit. It is suitable for all beings and has a low threshold. The Divine Path refines the bloodline and uses one's own body to carry authority; the threshold is higher, and it is difficult for those who are not Innate Beings to enter."

"In my opinion, Innate God-Demons without authority are essentially practicing Qi Refinement. Li Fan, you are the same. What we cultivate is the Dao; it is the Laws."

"Let me lecture on the Dao for you. This time, I have new insights into the Lunar Law. I return this Fragment of the Jade Disc of Creation to you."

"Ice Soul Suspended in Heaven, silence all sounds and condense dew into blades; Tide Rises and Calamity Begins, reincarnation through ten thousand lifetimes to eclipse the sun and verify the heart..."

During Wangshu's lecture, Li Fan organized his own cultivation of the Law of World and the Law of Reincarnation.

With the help of the Fragment of the Jade Disc of Creation, he successfully entered the gate of the Lunar Law, reaching the True God realm.

Li Fan cultivated the Law of World, using it as the trunk. The more Laws he comprehended, the better; the more, the merrier.

"Many thanks, Great Goddess, for the lecture."

"Great Goddess, after a while, I would like to travel through the Primordial Starry Sky. Is there anything I should pay attention to?"

Wangshu said, "The Primordial Starry Sky is divided into three forces, led by three Supreme Stars: Taiyin, Sun, and Ziwei."

"Do not go to the Solar Star Domain; Zhuzhao and I have a conflict. If you go to Ziwei Star, you can pay your respects to Goddess Ziguang and give her my regards."

"Great Goddess, before I set off, I want to forge two protective treasures. Going out empty-handed is not safe. Could you lend me two pieces of Taiyin Jade Stone so I can forge two weapons? Thank you."

Wangshu smiled, "I will give them to you."

The Goddess is truly wealthy. When she has it, she really gives it away!

Li Fan scoured the place of his birth, inside the array, once more. These materials were more than enough to forge two swords.

With the Taiyin Jade Stone as the core and other materials as supplements, injecting laws into it, I wonder what grade it will reach.

I must first find a place where the earthly fire is abundant; if a craftsman wants to do his work well, he must first sharpen his tools.

This was Li Fan's first time exploring Taiyin Star. One can no longer use simple size to measure Taiyin Star itself.

A single star is a Great Thousand World; having only grasped the fur of the Space Law, traveling is still too exhausting. It seems I must research an Evasion Technique.

Although this Taiyin Star is vast, it is still too desolate. With Starry Sky Storms occurring from time to time, along with the Space Rifts inherent to the star itself, life simply cannot be nurtured here; the environment is too harsh.

Found it; I shall forge my weapons here. Li Fan began refining, combining Samadhi True Fire with the earthly fire of Taiyin Star.

This Samadhi True Fire is a mixture of three true fires emitted from the "Essence, Qi, and Spirit" within the body; the higher the cultivation, the greater the power.

As time slowly passed, Li Fan continuously used the Law of Reincarnation to carve restrictions onto the sword.

Ten thousand years later, this sword was born. Li Fan refined it and found it to be a Low-Grade Houtian Spiritual Treasure with twelve Houtian Restrictions. My luck is not bad; after all, my forging technique is quite crude, and it was mainly the materials that were good. I named it the Oblivion Sword.

There is another one; I will continue to forge. Having a deep understanding of the Law of World, I forged a Mid-Grade Houtian Spiritual Treasure with twenty Houtian Restrictions, naming it the Star-Collecting Sword.

In the Primordial World, Houtian Spiritual Treasures are man-made: 1-18 are Low-Grade, 19-35 are Mid-Grade, 36-47 are Supreme Grade, 48 is a Top-tier Innate Spiritual Treasure, and 49 is the highest level of Houtian Supreme Treasure in the Primordial World. The restriction divisions for Innate Spiritual Treasures are the same.

Li Fan's Fragment of the Jade Disc of Creation is a Supreme Grade Innate Spiritual Treasure with forty-five Innate Restrictions.

Innate Spiritual Treasures are born of heaven and earth, nurtured by the Primordial World. They contain Innate Indestructible Spiritual Light; as long as they are not shattered, they will slowly recover if damaged and can even assist one in enlightenment.

Through this forging process, Li Fan's understanding of the laws deepened, and he took another step forward in the Venerable God Realm.
