"Show it to me. Has Captain Marvel Carol Danvers arrived? She's faster than I expected."
He-El had estimated that after Nick Fury sent Captain Marvel Carol Danvers a signal through the special pager, she would not arrive on Earth until some time after the Avengers had finished fighting Thanos and returned to Earth.
He had not expected Captain Marvel to be even faster than he imagined, rushing back so quickly.
Still, considering there were convenient transit nodes in the universe, it was not strange that Captain Marvel could reach Earth this quickly.
Originally, she had only returned after Thanos defeated the Avengers and gathered all six Infinity Stones. It was not because she was too far away, but because she had been busy pursuing her cause of justice—saving planets throughout the universe, finding homes for aliens, stopping invasions, and so on. Once she noticed the message from Nick Fury's special pager, she immediately rushed back, but by then Thanos destroying half the life in the universe had already become inevitable.

A projection facing Earth's outer space appeared beside Tony Stark's visual projection.
In the dark, profound universe on Earth's sunless side, a dazzling sphere of light trailed a long tail through the Dark Universe as it flew straight toward Earth.
Captain Marvel Carol Danvers could not be seen within the sphere. It shot directly into Earth's atmosphere and flew toward the Himalayas.
Watching the sphere of light head toward the Himalayas, He-El revealed a faint smile and ordered Vivian, "Collect and analyze Captain Marvel Carol Danvers's photon energy in space. Be careful. Don't let her notice."
