Whenever a member of the Monitors entered Five-Dimensional Space to ascend, they would see countless futures resulting from countless choices they could make.
These visions of their own futures could be true or false.
They were merely futures visible on the basis of their own abilities and past experiences. Within those visions, they might even do worse rather than better, ending up with a worse future.
As for darkness beyond a certain point in a vision, that meant there was no future.
"I did." Kolon Novo felt his entire body swell painfully, especially his head. It felt as though it had grown a size larger, with every future and every piece of information cramming into his brain.
The sheer volume of information about the future was more than Kolon Novo could finish processing.
Glimpse the future and know what lies ahead. He-El had likewise ascended within Kolon Novo's completion gene, remaining connected to him. They seemed to have seen many futures, but many were illusory and wildly implausible.
Kolon Novo's body instinctively integrated information to reveal his own futures. Those futures contained a great deal of falsehood and could only serve as references, not something to put reliably into practice.
Among the futures seen in Five-Dimensional Space, some might currently be real—or perhaps all of them were futures genuinely attainable from the present. Yet the instant those futures were seen, they had already undergone countless rapid changes.
These futures were both true and false. It all depended on how an individual used and exploited them.
