As they ventured deeper into the Fifth-Dimensional Prison, an increasingly disgusting, nauseating stench began to emerge.
"How could this be?!" Feeling that repulsive, sickening aura appear, the fourth-level chief overseer's ghostly face darkened to the extreme.
"I feel very uncomfortable," He-El said with a frown.
Ever since entering the Fifth-Dimensional Prison, they had become ghostlike—ageless and immortal, needing neither food nor energy, with all sensation turned insubstantial. They should have been unable to feel this disgusting, nauseating aura.
Yet now, the fourth-level chief overseer, He-El, and Nix Wutan all felt incomparably wretched.
It was as though every impurity in the universe was surrounding them, seeping into their souls.
"This is an ominous aura capable of penetrating the soul." Nix Wutan's expression changed drastically, his mind roiling. "How could it spread out for us to sense it? Has Mandrak's seal been broken?"
The fourth-level chief overseer swiftly led He-El and Nix Wutan onward. The layered spaces and times ahead seemed to have been polluted into unbearably turbid sources of contamination, sending chills through all three of them.
"Guard your minds!" the fourth-level chief overseer shouted heavily into their minds, then led He-El and Nix Wutan to the end.
At the end stood something like an experimental tank, within which pitch-black darkness and negative information drifted and surged, spreading outward.
Inside the tank was an even more disgusting existence—a corpse-like figure: Mandrak.
Sensing the arrival of the fourth-level chief overseer, He-El, and Nix Wutan, the mummified corpse seemed to awaken from slumber. Its bloodshot eyes turned toward the fourth-level chief overseer.
"Cackle, cackle, cackle... Mamadal Novo, I never thought... you would still..." Mandrak, resembling a dried corpse, had just begun to mock him when his gaze was drawn to He-El. His bloodshot eyes widened in utter shock.
"You! You! Why are you
