In an instant, King Piccolo took one blow each from Yamcha and Krillin. The shockwaves from their impacts blasted two holes through all the smoke created by the Explosive Demon Light Cannon.

King Piccolo was continuously sent flying by Yamcha and Krillin like a ball, punching hole after hole through the smoke.

"So amazing! Yamcha and Krillin have gotten strong too." Watching Yamcha and Krillin fight from the sky, Goku's eyes shone as he praised them. After rigorous training, Yamcha and Krillin had developed formidable strength as well.

"Of course. We've all trained really hard," Puar said, proudly raising his almost nonexistent neck.

He-El reached out and flicked the proud Puar on the forehead. "Don't get too full of yourself. If you haven't defeated your opponent, then no matter how hard you trained behind the scenes, it's useless."

"But fighting is fun too, isn't it? Training is for fighting more freely and enjoyably," Goku said, somewhat disagreeing.

While fighting Mr. Popo at Kami's Lookout, he had gradually felt himself improving. That growth filled him with delight. In battle, he felt the fierce clash, the invigorating rush that naturally surged through his body. The feeling made Goku unable to stop.

He-El glanced at Goku, knowing that because of his teachings, Goku had begun to enjoy the pleasures of battle earlier than he otherwise would have.

He-El, however, found no joy in battle itself. He only felt satisfied when a battle produced the result he wanted.
