"How is it? Bulma and I built this new spaceship. We refitted the engine from the old one and upgraded the life-support systems across the board, so it should be able to travel through space. The only problem is that space travel might get a little boring. This ship doesn't have much entertainment." Dr. Briefs tapped the spaceship coated in sky-blue and pink.
Dr. Briefs and Bulma had modified the ship considerably, making it much larger. The basic life-support area covered roughly thirty square meters, serving as the resting room, washroom, and everything else. Thirty square meters in total was already quite spacious for a refugee ship.
Its exterior was oval, like an egg, with a sky-blue and pink coating. It looked very girlish. Unless something unexpected had happened, Bulma had clearly been responsible for the design.
"The exterior is pretty girlish." He-El nodded, having no objections to its appearance.
"You know Bulma likes these colors. It looks a little childish, but the functions are quite good." Dr. Briefs spread his hands with a smile. "You made her angry, so she gave you some color. That's why this ship is called Bulma's Azure Star. The name is no longer up for you to change."
He-El shook his head with a faint smile. He had no opinion on what the ship was called.
He-El then boarded the spaceship and briefly inspected its vital equipment. Once he confirmed there were no issues, he began preparing supplies for space travel.
In the original story, Goku seemed to travel quite simply, boarding a spaceship and flying toward Namek without needing anything.
But in reality, space travel required more than ensuring the ship's main engine and life-support systems were functioning properly. It also needed backup propulsion, navigation systems, weapon systems, and more.
