A sword aura over ten meters tall tore through the earth, like a shark's dorsal fin breaking the surface of the sea. It sliced open the ground as it surged toward them.
The sword light reflected by that aura was like the morning star in the Dark Universe—majestic and vast. Though it was daytime, it was as if every ray of daylight had been absorbed by the sword light that had suddenly appeared, leaving it as the only presence between heaven and earth.
"Who's attacking?" Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, Puar, and Chiaotzu all possessed sharp senses. They could all tell that this sudden sword light was tearing through the ground toward He-El and Bulma.
"So scary." Bulma shuddered in fear and hid behind He-El.
He-El shielded Bulma, his expression calm as he watched the sword aura kick up sand and dirt while carving its way toward him.
"Who's attacking?" What was stranger was that Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, Puar, and Chiaotzu had not discovered who had unleashed the sword aura. They could not sense its wielder at all.
Yet their senses clearly detected a unique remnant of living Ki within the sword aura. It was certain that a living being had released it.
But could the person who released it really be that fast?
Had they vanished immediately after sending out the sword aura?
"I couldn't sense who fired that sword aura. Did any of you sense them?" Tien Shinhan asked in confusion through the Mental Network, where time was nearly irrelevant.
He considered his perception far from weak. Under He-El's guidance, he had become especially sensitive to the Ki of living beings, yet he still could not detect who had launched the sword aura. It was truly bizarre.
"No. It's strange," Goku said, equally puzzled
