"Mom, I really am your son, He-El Trunks. I came from the future."
As soon as Trunks said that, Bulma was speechless. She pointed at Trunks and stared wide-eyed at He-El.
Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, Krillin, Chiaotzu, and Puar also stared in sudden realization. They finally understood why Trunks looked so much like He-El—he was He-El's child from the future.
"He-El... he's our son!" Bulma said excitedly, her eyes lighting up. She looked at her stomach, then at He-El, her gaze constantly shifting between He-El and Trunks. A smile spread across her lips as she said without doubt, "No wonder you look so much like He-El. You really are my son."
Bulma happily approached Trunks, repeatedly touching his face and shoulders with both hands. She was deeply moved that her son had grown up so well.
"Strictly speaking, Bulma, he isn't your son. He is the son of He-El and Bulma from a Parallel Universe whose timeline is slightly ahead of ours," He-El said calmly.
He-El could be certain that he was unique. If another version of himself existed, it had to be because the universe had split off another Parallel Universe due to his arrival, creating a copy of him there.
At the same time, that copied version did not possess everything he did, so the versions of himself replicated by the universe often ended up becoming evil.
In essence, the universe's operating logic unconsciously resisted his influence through those copies, causing them to walk the path of evil.
Of course, those copies would eventually come face-to-face with him.
"Sure enough, this son of yours disappoints you so much that you can't wait to deny our relationship. Fine. I don't want to acknowledge you as my father either." Trunks glared at He-El with hatred in his eyes.
