"It was because of me." He-El shook his head.
Hearing He-El's words, Bulma furrowed her delicate brows and said unhappily, "How could it be because of you, He-El? You and the you from the Parallel Universe are completely different individuals.
"You may look exactly alike, but another universe is another universe. There's another me there, another Goku, another Piccolo, Vegeta, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, and other similar people, but they can't possibly be exactly the same as us.
"So whatever the other me did in that universe, whatever Goku and the others did, whatever choices they made, is completely different from us. It has nothing to do with us at all.
"It can't possibly be because of you, He-El."
Bulma's rebuttal was logical and clear. She did not believe this was He-El's fault.
She was not merely defending He-El. In her understanding, this simply should not have been He-El's fault.
After giving it some thought, Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, Krillin, Chiaotzu, Puar, and the others realized that was indeed the case. The versions of themselves in another universe behaved differently, and those actions were not under their control. If those versions became villains, it did not mean they supported them.
They were all separate versions of themselves from different universes, with different thoughts. Aside from sharing the same appearance, even their minds and beliefs were different. If the versions over there committed evil, did the versions here have to bear their sins?
The more everyone thought about it, the less reasonable that seemed.
"Bulma is right. The future of another universe isn't our future. It's wrong to judge our Big Brother He-El for the crimes of the He-El from another universe." Goku nodded solemnly, strongly supporting Bulma's view. He believed the same.
Goku believed that Big Brother He-El would
