Ancient One vs. Odin

"Ancient One, you have gone too far."

Odin stood clad in golden armor, Gungnir in hand. His white beard and hair bristled with rage, his stern eyes blazing. The King of the Gods unleashed his imposing might, shattering the surrounding air like glass as a vast shockwave erupted from his body.

The sea beneath the bridge was pressed into a semicircle by the force of Odin's aura, surging outward in rolling tsunamis.

Odin did not consider himself prejudiced against mortals. He had even reprimanded those Asgardian gods who believed themselves superior, telling them that they were not gods. What he meant was that Asgard was revered as divine by all beings because it was powerful and benevolent. Though this was recognized throughout the universe, they were not true deities.

Yet although he did not consider himself prejudiced against humans and did not believe himself to be a true god, he still retained the aspect of a god within his heart. He still believed that mortals should not casually enter the world of "gods."

Just as some dishes were unfit for the table, mortals should not casually enter the world of gods.

What was more, Ancient One had casually brought up Ragnarok, a future even Odin dared not speak of. Odin's face darkened like water, instinctively feeling that Ancient One had gravely offended Asgard and himself, the King of the Gods.

Gungnir expanded in Odin's hand in the form of energy. With a sweep toward Ancient One, he sent an enormous arc of energy crashing down over her.
