"Contact lenses that could connect to the internet, project a computer desktop onto the retina, and even enable brainwave communication? Was your universe's technology really that advanced?"

Nick Fury explored the contact lenses' functions. He quickly mastered their networking capabilities, retinal projection, and brainwave communication, then contacted He-El, who was clinking glasses with Thor and Tony Stark.

As the king of agents, Nick Fury knew a fair bit about computers and networks. Though he was not an expert, his idea of knowing "a little" would have made him an outstanding hacker in most people's eyes.

Even so, he could not understand what kind of technology could achieve brainwave communication through contact lenses.

He could at least guess at the theory behind retinal projection. It was barely acceptable that such a tiny contact lens could connect to the internet as well.

But brainwave communication? What kind of technology was that? What principle did it use?

"Nothing special. Just a little ahead of this Earth."
