"Yes." JARVIS's voice came through the loudspeaker in the living room. "Sir, would you like me to keep an eye on Miss Potts?"

Tony Stark kept his expression natural. "Since you brought it up, tell me."

Things had not progressed so smoothly between Tony Stark and his former assistant, now the president of Stark Industries, Pepper Potts.

Although there was something between them, He-El's appearance from the very beginning had changed many of Tony Stark's experiences.

Most notably, Obadiah Stane's escape had spared them several life-and-death crises, so their feelings had never erupted with such intensity.

By now, it rather felt as though Pepper Potts, president of Stark Industries, and Tony Stark, the superhero Iron Man, were two separate parallel lines that only became entangled because Tony Stark was her boss.

So after He-El warned him that Stark Industries' reactors might be used, Tony Stark had remained deeply uneasy.

Tony Stark wanted to rush to Stark Industries at once to see whether Pepper Potts was still there, whether Loki had controlled her mind, or whether Loki had hurt her.

But going there directly might alert the enemy. If Loki truly intended to use Stark Industries' reactors as He-El had said, then Pepper Potts was very likely in danger.

Tony Stark felt anxious and restless, yet he still did not dare act rashly. He could only force himself to calm down.

"It has been one month and fifteen days since Miss Potts last left you a message," JARVIS reported.
