Himinbjorg was blasted apart by a massive dark-red energy cannon. Stones flew everywhere, and the Rainbow Bridge's switch and coordinate indicator were destroyed. Heimdall took the tremendous impact head-on and was sent flying, coughing up blood in midair before falling unwillingly into the ocean below.
The churning ocean heaved up enormous waves from the impact. A single rolling swell completely swallowed Heimdall beneath the water, leaving no trace of him.
