Background

Awakening and rescue mission

Shi Bantian awakens Si Wa’s Martial Soul alongside Wu Wa’s. Si Wa names his Martial Soul Emperor Flame and immediately demonstrates that he can breathe fire. 92

After reaching rank 89 with eight Spirit Rings, Si Wa grows impatient to leave for Spirit Hall and rescue his mother and brothers. He and Wu Wa are unable to form their ninth rings despite feeling close to a breakthrough. 109

On the way to Spirit City, Si Wa and Wu Wa refuse to yield to the Sky Azure Bull Python and Titan Giant Ape. Si Wa’s Extreme Fire scorches the Sky Azure Bull Python’s tail, and the brothers ultimately drive both Hundred-Thousand-Year Spirit Beasts away. 116 117

Si Wa reaches Spirit City with Wu Wa and three Spirit Beast companions. He sends the Spirit Beasts back to tell Shi Bantian that the brothers will return after rescuing their mother and siblings. 123

Conflict with Qi Wa

Si Wa confronts Qi Wa after she sides with Bibi Dong. He attempts to persuade her that Bibi Dong is deceiving her, then activates his Martial Soul True Body, the Fire God Phantom, to overwhelm her with a fire-enhancing domain and falling Extreme Fire meteors. 133

He later joins Wu Wa in a Martial Soul Fusion Skill that combines fire and ice into a storm. Both brothers restrain their power out of concern for Qi Wa, and their depleted Spirit Power allows Qi Wa to absorb them into her Purple Gold Gourd. 135

Fire God inheritance

After the Gourd Babies receive opportunities to inherit divine positions, Si Wa is chosen for the Fire God Divine Seat and travels alone to the Extreme North Land to undertake its trials. 287 294 314

His search leads him to the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm and an ice-and-fire inheritance palace. Si Wa and the silkworm combine their opposing attributes to open its gate, where Si Wa receives the Fire God’s inheritance. 304 309 314

Si Wa clears seven trials involving magma endurance, Fire Spirit Power absorption, a flame maze, a flame storm, divine-artifact forging, a Two-headed Flame Lion, and a Titan Blood Demon Bear. 315 He then defeats the Snow Empress in the Eighth Trial, but struggles to advance from level 98 to level 99 for the final trial. 317 318

Si Wa is hot-tempered, proud, and direct. He immediately takes offense when the Beast Kings order him aside, and he openly challenges them to prove whether their strength exceeds his Extreme Fire. 116 117 His confidence can become arrogance; after he and Wu Wa gain strength, both underestimate the four Titled Douluo sent against them. 125

His aggression is consistently tied to protecting family. He travels to Spirit City to recover his mother and brothers, intervenes when Da Wa is outnumbered, and holds back against Qi Wa because he does not want to seriously harm his sister. 123 135 281

Si Wa is also curious and impulsive. He tastes Ten Thousand-Year Cold Ice Marrow without understanding that his Extreme Fire constitution cannot absorb it, then stubbornly continues his search when the Sky Dream Ice Silkworm doubts the Fire God can be found in the Extreme North Land. 304 305

His confidence falters only when he cannot clear the Ninth Trial. After reaching level 98 and failing to advance further, he experiences despair but resolves to seek guidance from his siblings rather than abandon his goal. 318
