Much of the continent's ancient history has been obscured by time, wars, and shifting eras. Knowledge of the Dragon God, the dragon race, and the Nine Dragon Kings has largely disappeared even among Soul Beasts, making the Myriad Realms Auction Pavilion's revelations about them deeply unsettling to figures such as Di Tian and Qian Daoliu. 102
At the beginning of the story, Su Mu transmigrates to Martial Soul City and becomes bound to the Myriad Realms Auction System. The system identifies the setting as the Douluo Continent plane and provides Su Mu with the Myriad Realms Auction Pavilion. 1
The pavilion's sudden construction before the Papal Palace overturns the existing understanding of power on the continent. Bibi Dong cannot penetrate it with her Soul Power and orders Martial Soul Hall to investigate its origin and whether similar structures have appeared elsewhere. 3 4
