Bai Suzhen began searching for the benefactor she was destined to repay, guided only by Guanyin Bodhisattva’s verse: “Fate brings us together across a thousand miles; seek the high ground of West Lake.” During this journey, she fought Xiao Qing, then accepted her as a sister. She later entered the Myriad Worlds Chat Group by chance. 129

Believing the group administrator could divine the future, she asked for information about her past, future, and the location of her benefactor, Xu Xian. As a token of gratitude, she sent him body-strengthening elixirs. 130

Bai Suzhen accepted a mission to Bai Xiaofei’s world out of compassion. There, she used her Realgar Sword against a Corpse Brother, but was shocked that the creature survived being cut in half. 132

After Bai Xiaofei showed her recordings of Legend of the White Snake, Bai Suzhen learned that her future—including Xiao Qing’s suffering and her own suppression beneath Leifeng Pagoda—had been arranged by divine forces.
