The universe had existed for 13.8 billion years. Over such an immense span of time, it was impossible that only the Pangu Civilization and the God River Civilization had ever touched that terrifying unknown domain.
What exactly was this so-called "unknown domain"?
Most people considered it the void, and that was not entirely wrong. Anything unknown, incomprehensible, or belonging to some higher level could be called the void.
As early as thirty thousand years ago, Hua Zhen's engine had collapsed after Luo Ji betrayed him. Within just ten years, he had begun to show signs of old age. Not wanting Kesha to see him frail and aged, and also wishing to deepen his understanding of the universe, he bid Kesha farewell and began traveling through different star systems.
Back then, he had visited many civilizations and gained considerable experience and insight. Near the end of his life, he once left behind these words:
"The universe cannot contain the highest wisdom, and wisdom cannot break through the universe!"
Cannot contain it, yet cannot break through it—this sounded contradictory, but the statement needed to be explained in two parts.
In the first half, "the universe cannot contain the highest wisdom," the "universe" referred to the Known Universe we were familiar with. As for why it could not contain the highest wisdom—
Simply put, wisdom completely transcended the universe. In terms of space and time, wisdom could break through the universe's limitations. The universe possessed only finite space and present time, yet the space of wisdom was infinite. Its understanding of all things could trace back to any era, while its predictions of the future could extend infinitely through time.
In the latter half, "wisdom cannot break through the universe," the "universe" referred to the void just mentioned, or perhaps higher-level intelligence, the
