He Xi is the daughter of Right Wing King He Zheng and the younger sister of He Xuan. Raised under her brother's protection, she was initially sheltered from Tiangong's political intrigues and underestimated the dangers around her. Her curiosity led Su Ma Li to lure her away from the Second Prince's Celebration Banquet, where Hua Zhen and Gus intervened before she could be harmed 87 92.

He Xuan began teaching her swordsmanship after realizing that he could not always protect her. Although reluctant at first, He Xi trained diligently to compensate for what she believed was a lack of talent; her sparring instructor later judged her potential comparable to He Xuan's 101 124.

Friendship with Hua Zhen

Years later, He Xi approached Hua Zhen at Angel Lake to apologize for her father and brother's actions. Though Hua Zhen initially considered using her as leverage against He Zheng and He Xuan, her sincere desire to distinguish right from wrong gradually changed his view of her 164 197.

The two bonded over theoretical knowledge and a shared wish to explore the universe rather than remain trapped in Tiangong's succession struggles.
