After acquiring the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ Soul Bones and gathering companions, he crossed the sea to the Sun Moon Continent, where he began drawing the Xu Family’s attention.

• Dugu Chen used the Golden Ancient Tree and his Plane Master authority to seal Douluo Star, cutting off the gods’ influence for up to ten years, while the God Kings confined Asura and Poseidon.
• Qian Renxue was enthroned as ruler of the Heaven Dou Empire, and Dugu Chen recognized the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud as the Sea God’s Heart before she left for Spirit Hall.
• Dugu Chen awakened the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ lingering consciousness, gained their Soul Bones, and reached rank seventy-eight after fusing the Fire Dragon King’s Soul Bone.

Dugu Chen survived a Beast Tide, left the Sun Moon Continent with Soul Tools, and traveled to Dragon Valley to seek the Mountain Dragon King’s remains. There he buried the Nine Dragon Kings and began absorbing the Mountain Dragon King’s power.

• Dugu Chen traded his Soul Core method for the Hongchen and Xu families’ Soul Tool knowledge, then defeated Xu Daoqing in a spar and claimed the Blazing Dragon King’s Skull from the Xu Family’s hidden realm.
• Dugu Chen killed the Evil Soul Master Zheng Zhan and helped defend Sun Moon City when the Evil Emperor led a Beast Tide against it.
• Dugu Chen killed the Evil Emperor, absorbed its seven-hundred-thousand-year soul ring, and reached Rank 84 before receiving Soul Tools and Soul Bones from Zui Hongchen.
• Dugu Chen sailed to the Star Sea Continent with his companions and entered Dragon Valley, where dragon clouds strengthened him, Dugu Yan, and Dugu Bo.
• Dugu Chen reached Dragon Valley’s core and encountered the Dragon God’s Soul, which allowed him to train there after the Fire Dragon King and Blazing Dragon King intervened.
• Dugu Chen buried the Nine Dragon Kings’ remains, planted Dragon Blood Grass, and absorbed the Mountain Dragon King’s soul and a transparent soul bone.

Dugu Chen fought the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King amid the Sea God Island conflict, then traveled to the Extreme North to secure Soul Rings and a path forward for Shui Bing'er. The arc left Xiao Bai sacrificing herself as Shui Bing'er began absorbing her Soul Ring and Left Leg Bone.

• Dugu Chen gained the Mountain Dragon King's Torso Bone, completed the Earth God’s Third Trial, and returned from Dragon Valley with Dugu Bo and the others.
• The Deep Sea Demonic Whale King attacked the Auro Jackson, and Dugu Chen fought him while Tang San and Xiao Bai faced the Evil Orca King.
• Dugu Chen, Tang Chen, and the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King fought across the sea as Bo Saixi tried to protect Tang San, until Di Tian intervened and drove the whale away after Tang Chen was gravely injured.
• The Deep Sea Demonic Whale King led an assault on Sea God Island, Tang San escaped with the Asura Demon Sword, and Bo Saixi died as the island sank.
• Di Tian brought Tang Chen to the Star Dou Great Forest, while Dugu Chen took his companions to the Extreme North to seek Soul Rings and help Shui Bing'er with her Water God trial.
• Dugu Chen fought Xue Di and Ice Empress, then proposed that one of them sacrifice herself to Shui Bing'er and be revived after she became a God.
• Xiao Bai volunteered to sacrifice herself first, and Dugu Chen protected Shui Bing'er as Xiao Bai's red Soul Ring and Left Leg Bone settled onto her.

Dugu Chen refined the Netherworld’s power, reached Rank 90, and gained the Six Paths Samsara Heavenly Art as Spirit Hall advanced against Star Luo. The arc ended with Dugu Chen killing Tang San and Bibi Dong crushing Star Luo’s resistance at Fengyao City.

• Shui Bing’er completed her Water God trial through Xiao Bai’s sacrifice, while Dugu Yan and Ye Lingling absorbed new soul rings and Snow Empress and Ice Empress agreed to sacrifice themselves later.
• Tang San descended into darkness, slaughtered Soul Masters and civilians, and gathered Fallen Ones in the City of Slaughter as Spirit Hall took control of Heaven Dou.
• Dugu Chen visited Spirit Hall, sold Bibi Dong Soul Tools, exchanged cultivation insights with the consecrators, and fought Qian Renxue before leaving with a token from Di Tian.

• Dugu Chen entered Fengyao City and defeated Tang San, countering his Asura’s Judgment with Six Paths, Reincarnation before Tang San died.
• Dugu Chen captured Tang San’s soul and cast it into the Netherworld, while Bibi Dong defeated the Hell White Tiger and surveyed the battlefield at Fengyao City.
