Dugu Chen built the Netherworld with Gu Yuena, challenged the God Realm, and captured the Golden Dragon King while gaining the God Kings’ cooperation. After Qian Renxue and Ye Lingling became Gods, Dugu Chen confronted the Asura God’s conspiracy, leaving Qian Renxue fighting him as Destruction and Life returned to the God Realm.

• Dugu Chen weakened Di Tian and Xiong Jun, then met Gu Yuena and explained that Soul Rings trapped Soul Beast souls and that he wanted her help to build a Netherworld.
• Gu Yuena accepted Dugu Chen’s plan to become Lord of Samsara, and they moved Dragon Valley into the Netherworld, where dragon souls could live and eventually reincarnate.
• Dugu Chen and Gu Yuena strengthened the Heart of Samsara with divine weapons while Spirit Hall conquered the continent and established Bibi Dong’s empire.
• As the God Kings investigated the Netherworld, Dugu Chen fought Asura God and won their agreement not to obstruct its expansion so long as it left living planets alone.
• Gu Yuena freed the Golden Dragon King, who rampaged through the God Realm before fleeing toward Douluo Star, where Dugu Chen captured him and drew his origin into the Heart of Samsara.
• Dugu Chen arranged Qian Daoliu’s survival and watched Qian Renxue ascend as the Angel God, then she admitted she could not defeat him and left with him.
• After Ye Lingling became the Flower God, Dugu Chen protected her from Asura God and the Seven Judgment Gods, weakening Asura God and turning the battle into a wider confrontation.
• Dugu Chen kept Ji Dong and the other gods occupied while Qian Renxue fought Asura God, and Destruction realized Asura had lured him and Life away as they hurried back.
