"Listen, all of you. What a wonderful sound."
Lady Fate was feeling more than delight; she was now exhilarated.
She seemed to have taken Tang Qi, the only one on the battlefield with "self-awareness," along with the billions of Origin Star Humans who could see but not speak, as her audience.
She excitedly trampled Tang Qi's tentacles and eyeballs, forcing him and the Origin Star Humans to watch the forming "Fate Ruins."
It was, in truth, a towering peak.
A mountain the Boundless Mystery had never seen before. Its foundation was the entire Origin Star, followed by countless "divine materials"—the corpses of vast numbers of Chaotic Evil gods and fiends, including the Masters who had been summoned here.
That war, even more brutal than the Great Cataclysm, ended at an unimaginable speed.
Just as fate had foretold, their flesh formed rivers, their divine bodies shattered, and their souls collapsed.
The King of Darkness's head, Rotten Father God's eyeball, Abyss Progenitor God's arm, Master of Flesh's wings... most of the bodies and authorities of the Masters summoned onto the battlefield had become corpses.
Their remains, together with those of the other evil gods and fiends, were swept up by the river tide, which seemed to possess a will of its own. They gradually piled up, gradually forming a mountain that could not be looked at, perceived, or contemplated... the loftiest and most terrifying mountain in the Boundless Mystery.
Once they merged into that mountain, that ruin, the corpses no longer seemed to be corpses.
In an instant, they were transformed into "fate materials," becoming hazy, as though they did not exist at all, yet also incomparably majestic.
What the Fate Doe was forcing Tang Qi and the billions of Origin Star Humans to hear was the sound of the river tide
