"Bang! Bang! Bang! Boom!"

The conflict that had suddenly erupted on the Fourth Floor of the Library Tower ended at an unimaginable speed. Those "Black Stains" that were gradually merging together seemed to possess some bizarre power, but after Sally spoke, they were barely able to put up any effective resistance.

An invisible, mighty force swept over it. It only had time to release a piercing sound wave that shattered the Fourth Floor's windows before shriveling into a lump. The hollow face that radiated dreadful contamination vanished, replaced by a pitch-black, somewhat viscous mass of flesh.

Yet whenever it wriggled, the dense clusters of black flesh buds that abruptly swelled from its surface still made one's scalp tingle.

Naturally, Sally was not included among those people.

She stood on the floor strewn with shattered glass, looking down at the shriveling "mysterious creature," which no longer dared release even the slightest contamination. Completely suppressed by her power, it obediently wriggled its way into a glass jar at Sally's command.

If one only saw this scene, one would hardly think it was anything terrifying.

Even though the information Sally had read showed that it—or a great number of similar "mysterious creatures"—had appeared after the Thorn Incident on December 1st, targeting people connected to Tang Qi and continuously launching attacks.

Although they had caused no casualties, seemingly only leaving their targets unconscious or in similar states.

Even so, it had already far exceeded Sally's tolerance.

The sudden explosion naturally drew the other witches in the school over at once.
