Yuu returned to Konoha, forced Jiraiya to take him to Mount Myōboku, and learned Sage Mode after securing the Great Toad Sage’s rare fruit wine. He left with most of the toads’ wine and promised to extend the Great Toad Sage’s life.

• Yuu returned to Konoha with the Tailed Beasts, and Jiraiya agreed to take him to Mount Myōboku after Yuu threatened to cut off his legs.
• Yuu made Danzo handle Minato’s paperwork, then traveled with Jiraiya and Minato to Mount Myōboku, where he made Jiraiya eat Shima’s bug dishes.
• The Great Toad Sage greeted Yuu as an old acquaintance, but Yuu threatened it and demanded wine.
• Yuu drank the Great Toad Sage’s century-matured fruit wine, gained new attributes, and entered perfect Sage Mode.
• Yuu intimidated the Great Toad Sage into handing over roughly a hundred bottles of wine and negotiating an eighty-twenty share of future batches.
• Yuu promised the Great Toad Sage more years of life before leaving Mount Myōboku with the wine.

Yuu brought Hinata and Ino into his household and oversaw their victories in a public combat assessment. As Akatsuki prepared to challenge his rule, Yuu learned of its plans and issued a manhunt order against its members and Kabuto, leaving the other villages fearful of Konoha’s response.

• Yuu brought Hinata home from the Hyuga compound, where Yugao accepted her and Ino as disciples and began training them in the Creation Path and taijutsu.
• Five years later, Hinata defeated Sasuke and Ino defeated Naruto in a combat assessment, displaying the swordsmanship Yuu had taught them.
• Yuu assigned Hinata and Ino to the same group under Yugao, while Akatsuki sealed the Seven-Tails and resolved to start a war against Konoha.
• Pain and Uchiha Obito planned to overthrow Yuu, recruiting more forces and using Impure World Reincarnation to hold back his subordinates.
• Konoha’s leaders discovered that Kabuto had stolen the Impure World Reincarnation scroll, research materials, and First Hokage cells, and learned that Akatsuki had taken several jinchuriki.
• Yuu ordered the Saiki Manhunt Order against Kabuto and Akatsuki, while recognizing Jiraiya’s intention to investigate Amegakure alone and warning him to leave the matter to Yuu.
• Rasa, Pakura, and Baki considered the order’s implications and feared that Konoha would mobilize its full combat force.

Saiki Yuu confronted Nagato in Amegakure, revived Jiraiya, and defeated the Six Paths of Pain while revealing overwhelming power. He captured Konan and exposed Uchiha Obito, then left with her as Nagato remained behind and the Nine-Tails carried them to Mount Myōboku.

• Pakura ordered Sunagakure to mobilize its Jonin and above against the Akatsuki Organization, while villages across the Shinobi World canceled their contracts and covertly hunted its members.
• Pain summoned the Akatsuki Organization to a meeting, where Zetsu reported that Konoha’s elite were leading the manhunt and that several villages and small countries had already been destroyed.
• Jiraiya secretly traveled to Amegakure to investigate his former students and encountered Konan and the Six Paths of Pain.
• Jiraiya recognized one of Pain’s bodies from his past, and Yuu arrived riding the Nine-Tails before Pain could kill him.
• Yuu revived Jiraiya with the Black Blade, then fought Nagato’s Paths and destroyed several of them with his immense swordsmanship and Power of All Creation.
• Yuu defeated the Deva Path, captured Konan, and forced Nagato and Uchiha Obito out of hiding with his Conqueror’s Haki.
• Obito admitted that he had rescued Nagato to protect the Rinnegan, while Yuu refused to kill him and told Nagato to come to Konoha if he wanted Konan back.
• Yuu returned to Mount Myōboku with Konan and Jiraiya, where Shima Sage scolded Sage Fukasaku and thanked Yuu for saving Jiraiya.

Saiki Yuu brought Konan to Konoha and revealed how thoroughly he had prepared to confront the Akatsuki. As the allied Kage arrived for the planned public execution, Yuu showed Mei Terumi evidence that a masked Akatsuki member had infiltrated Kirigakure.

• Yuu forced Konan to return to Konoha with Jiraiya, then brought her into the village as its citizens welcomed him and the Nine-Tails.
• Yuu took Konan to his estate and subjected her to a drinking ordeal, while Jiraiya apologized to Tsunade and the others for his reckless actions.
• At a Jonin meeting, Jiraiya presented Konoha’s intelligence on the Akatsuki, and Yuu proposed a public execution to lure the organization into a trap.
• The Four Great Shinobi Villages accepted Yuu’s invitations as Konoha evacuated its civilians and assembled Jonin and six Tailed Beasts outside the gates.
• The visiting Kage and their delegations entered Konoha, where Yuu received their gifts and told them to rest before the public execution.
• Yuu stopped the Kirigakure delegation, knocked Ao and Chojuro unconscious with his Conqueror’s Haki, and showed Mei a masked Akatsuki member with a Sharingan in the Mizukage’s office.
