Saiki Yuu staged Konan’s execution to draw the Akatsuki into an assault on Konoha, where the village’s fighters defeated them and Yuu effortlessly stopped Nagato’s strongest attack. After Obito stole Nagato’s Rinnegan and fled, Yuu told Konan the truth about Yahiko’s death, and she left the Akatsuki to seek revenge.

• Yuu subjected Mei Terumi and Konan to a drinking contest, then announced their public execution as Akatsuki gathered to attack Konoha and rescue Konan.
• Konoha prepared its forces before the watching nations, and Deidara, Hidan, Kakuzu, Sasori, and the Six Paths of Pain attacked the village.
• Konoha’s fighters and tailed beasts overcame the Akatsuki, while Itachi and Shisui fought and Deva Path exhausted himself trying to reach Konan.

Their clash ended in a space-time-shattering collision, leaving Hashirama Senju and Tobirama Senju searching the ruined battlefield for Yuu as Obito sent the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path to attack.

• Saiki Yuu devastated Uchiha Madara’s Susanoo, then Hashirama Senju and Tobirama Senju arrived and confronted the badly damaged Madara.
• Madara challenged Yuu again, and Yuu held back his Perfect Susanoo’s swords with a small knife before shattering them with Armament Haki.
• Madara released himself from Kabuto Yakushi’s Impure World Reincarnation, and Uchiha Obito killed Kabuto before summoning the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
• Madara used Wood Style and Six Paths techniques against Yuu, who combined Armament Haki, natural energy, chakra, and the Power of All Creation in Shusui.

Saiki Yuu tormented Uchiha Madara, then returned to the battlefield as Uchiha Obito unleashed the Ten-Tails against the Allied Shinobi Forces. Yuu revived the fallen shinobi and faced down the Ten-Tails’ attacks, leaving the beast reeling after a massive explosion.

• Saiki Yuu repeatedly tore Uchiha Madara apart with Shusui, causing him unbearable pain until Madara begged him to stop, while Yuu revealed that he needed Madara for a quest to kill Kaguya Ōtsutsuki.
• Yuu left Madara behind and returned to the battlefield, where his slash wounded Uchiha Obito as Obito fought Konoha’s forces and tried to reach the Tailed Beasts.
• Obito summoned the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, which absorbed the Tailed Beasts’ chakra and transformed into the Ten-Tails.
