Saiki Yuu prepared Konoha to face the Sand and Cloud alliance, then launched a surprise attack that shattered its defenses. As Yuu’s enormous slashes ravaged the allied camp, Rasa stepped forward to stop one and claim prestige.

• Danzo learned that Saiki Yuu had killed the Third Raikage, while Hiruzen visited only to make Danzo write Yuu a congratulatory letter.
• At the Cloud Battlefield, Yuu dismissed plans to deploy Konoha’s tailed beasts and declared he would capture the One-Tail, Two-Tails, and Eight-Tails as pets.
• Chiyo and the Fourth Raikage formed an alliance to kill Yuu, bringing their villages’ forces and three tailed beasts into the war.
• Facing an enemy force nearly three times Konoha’s size, Yuu ordered a direct attack and threatened his troops with a week of sparring if they failed.
• At dawn, Konoha’s summoned beasts smashed through the alliance’s defenses, and the surprise blitzkrieg cost the allied forces more than three thousand men.
• Yuu’s enormous purple-black slashes tore through the allied camp, prompting the Fourth Raikage and Killer B to attack them without success.
• Rasa used Gold Dust Wave against a remaining slash, seeking to prove his strength and gain prestige as the allied shinobi cheered and the other leaders watched in alarm.

Saiki Yuu overwhelmed the Allied Forces and fought the Fourth Raikage, Killer B, Yugito, and their Tailed Beasts. As Chiyo and Rasa prepared to confront him, Matatabi and Gyuki fired Tailed Beast Bombs at an incapacitated Shukaku.

• Saiki Yuu’s slash shattered Rasa’s sand sea, which swept through the Allied Forces’ camp despite Rasa’s efforts to slow it, while the Fourth Raikage and Killer B broke Yuu’s earlier attacks.
• Yuu sent a vast Sword Storm toward the camp, and Killer B joined the Eight-Tails in partial transformation as the Fourth Raikage charged the barrier, and the Raikage was dragged inside but carved a path out and escaped.
• Yuu confronted the Allied Forces and unleashed One-Sword Style—Asura at Killer B, whose Tailed Beast Bomb could not stop the slash, and the Fourth Raikage and Yugito joined the fight, and Killer B transformed into the full Eight-Tails.
• Yugito and the Two-Tails joined the Eight-Tails and the Fourth Raikage in shattering Yuu’s slash, but Yuu then inflicted agonizing pain on the Eight-Tails and Two-Tails with his fists and Shusui’s sheath.
• Pakura brought Chiyo the One-Tail test subject, and Shukaku emerged from the seal, only to discover its Jinchuriki had died, and Yuu cut off Shukaku’s sand claw and knocked him unconscious with a blow to the jaw.
• Chiyo told Rasa they were going in, and Rasa began restoring his chakra as Matatabi and Gyuki decided to attack Shukaku with Tailed Beast Bombs while Yuu stood on his head.
• Shukaku pretended to remain unconscious while Yuu poked his head with a knife, but he realized he could not dodge Matatabi and Gyuki’s incoming blasts.

Saiki Yuu turned the Tailed Beasts against one another, defeated them, and forced the Eight-Tails to take Shukaku and the Two-Tails to Konoha. The Allied Forces realized Konoha might soon possess six Tailed Beasts and were left without a way to defeat Yuu.

• Shukaku’s attempt to use the Tailed Beast Bombs against Saiki Yuu backfired, and Matatabi’s barrage left Shukaku nearly destroyed while Yuu emerged unharmed.
• Yuu used Six Paths Power to restore Shukaku, who attacked Gyuki and Matatabi, setting off a fight that nearly destroyed all three Tailed Beasts.
• Yuu trapped the tangled beasts with his sword technique and struck them with a massive slash, burying them beneath a shattered mountain.
• Yuu and his allies dug the three Tailed Beasts out, and Yuu whipped Shukaku unconscious before ordering Gyuki to escort the others to Konoha.
• Yuu healed Gyuki, Shukaku, and Matatabi, and Gyuki submitted and carried the other two toward Konoha.
• The Allied Forces watched the Tailed Beasts leave, and Ebizo explained that Yuu had healed Shukaku and defeated the beasts.
• The Fourth Raikage, Rasa, and the Allied Forces realized Konoha could soon possess six Tailed Beasts, while they had no clear way to defeat Yuu.

Yuu defeated the Cloud-Sand Alliance, then spared its leaders in exchange for fine wine and slashed the allied shinobi without killing them. Meanwhile, the tailed beasts headed to Konoha at Yuu’s order, where Hiruzen prepared the village to face their approach without using its own tailed beasts.

• Yuu arrived at the Allied Forces’ camp with Jiraiya and Orochimaru, then used Conqueror’s Haki to knock out most of the Cloud-Sand forces.
• Rasa and the Fourth Raikage rallied their remaining shinobi, but Rasa abandoned resistance and offered Yuu rare wine in exchange for mercy.
• Yuu accepted the wine, drank it, and slashed Rasa, whose wounds were healed by a mysterious power before Yuu continued beating him.
• Yuu made the allied shinobi line up and slashed them one by one, wounding Chiyo and the Fourth Raikage while gaining attributes.
• Yuu agreed to spare the Fourth Raikage for the moment and ordered the alliance to deliver fine wine to Konoha within ten days.
• The Eight-Tails took Shukaku and the Two-Tails toward Konoha, and they agreed to go after it warned them that Yuu would find and punish them if they fled.
• Hiruzen reread reports of Yuu’s campaign as tremors shook the village, then learned that the One-Tail, Two-Tails, and Eight-Tails were approaching Konoha.
• Hiruzen rejected a jonin’s suggestion to use Konoha’s tailed beasts against the attackers and ordered the village to defend itself.
