Spread the Word: Skadi Has Betrayed Asgard
"Then—let's continue!" Rovi raised the spear in his hand, and through the steel mask, it made a deep, thunderous sound.
The martial gods were all extremely serious.
They... were afraid.
The Great God Odin chose warriors who were not afraid of battle or death, nor of any powerful enemy. They feared Odin and revered the King of the Gods had given them power.
At this moment, facing Rovi is like facing the Great God Odin.
The oppressive aura was palpable.
Its power is self-evident.
"Escape!" A martial god shouted instantly, flapping his black wings and creating ripples.
Rovi raised his spear.
Just then... a deafening roar suddenly resounded!
The lightning flashed brilliantly, illuminating the dim yellow dome of Jotunheim with a dazzling light, like a giant iron hammer falling from the sky—no, it wasn't just like it, it was exactly what it was.
"Thor!?" Rovi deflected the incoming heavy blow with his spear, and the attack that came straight at him was only a fleeting moment.
The thunder subsided and dissipated, leaving only dust and smoke in the world. The group of martial gods and the falling thunder also disappeared.
They were rescued by Thor.
It seems even the ' King of the Wild Hunt ' couldn't stop it.
Thor is the second most powerful god in the Norse gods Great God Odin. He is a thoroughly martial artist and the god of war who wields thunder.
He does indeed have this ability.
Yes, it is reasonable and logical.
Rovi did it on purpose.
The appearance of Thor was not unexpected to him; in fact, he revealed himself so brazenly in order to lure out this Norse god of war.
Those martial gods were nothing but bait.
He never cared whether they lived or died.
Rovi removed the mask from his face and looked down.
"King! King! King!" The wind howled, and the Giants roared incessantly, their cries echoing across the land like a storm.
They were invigorated by the king's strength and certain victory.
However, Rovi only looked at the tiny 'human' who seemed very small compared to the Giants.
Skadi, the Snow Mountain Goddess, wore a purple dress.
Her delicate face was blank, and she froze in place as she raised her wand. Her full figure swayed in the wind, and the goddess looked bewildered.
Skadi was completely stunned.
Because she noticed the fleeting figure that appeared in the lightning and looked at her.
Thor's eyes were filled with disappointment and anger towards her.
Even... murderous intent.
It's over.
Skadi finally realized that she seemed unable to clear her name of any wrongdoing.
If it were merely a misunderstanding caused by the exposure of the power of the Meteor Spear, she could still find a way to explain.
If it involves the authority of the Great God Odin... even if she is Odin's most beloved goddess, or a being like the daughter of the god-king, there is absolutely no room for negotiation.
Whether it's a misunderstanding or not, she will be punished.
A cruel and merciless punishment!
"A group of minor martial gods is not enough to prove your betrayal, Thor, shouldn't it be enough?" Rovi's slowly lowered his body, donning the armor of Machine God and a long cloak. He no longer had the gentle yet wise aura he had before, but instead exuded a more sinister and murderous air.
Just like the identity it replaced...
Wild Hunt.
The King of the Dead hunts madly across the land.
However, Rovi's voice was full of schadenfreude. "How about it? Still want to take Asgard?"
"If you want to go, I can send you there immediately—"
Skadi didn't answer; if she weren't outmatched, she would have given this guy a good beating long ago.
Go away?
Will he be killed?
The Norse gods abhor betrayal and show no mercy to traitors.
"Are you really trying to force me into your camp?" Frustrated and helpless, Skadi finally couldn't help but speak after a moment, "I'm just a minor deity..."
"You are the most beloved goddess among the gods, the youngest among all the gods." Rovi reached out and lifted Skadi's chin, raising her exquisite face. "You know more secrets than most of the gods."
The King of the Dead stared directly at the Snow Mountain Goddess.
No longer as dark and deep as before, Rovi's's eyes Present Moment gleam with gold and fire, a primordial state that once flowed underground.
A stark, deathly silence pervaded the air, filled with a chilling atmosphere.
"I know, but I won't compromise." Skadi turned her head away.
Regardless, she is the goddess of Asgard, and she will not, and cannot, help these giants who only bring destruction.
"Suit yourself!" Rovi withdrew his hand; he hadn't expected Skadi to be so easily subdued.
There is still a long time to go.
So...
With a clang.
Rovi pinned the spear in his other hand to the ground.
The surrounding Titan Giants stood solemnly and majestically.
A pair of eyes, burning with intense heat and fire.
They were watching Rovi.
Watching him raise his hands, his cloak billowing behind him in the cold air of Jotunheim.
They heard him say, "Then I will take you away from here!"
Exhilarating and exciting.
The Giants waved their hands, stirring up an endless storm in the air.
Death was mixed in with the storm.
Death contains endless terror.
'Death and storms rage, calamity and terror rage, the King of the Wild Hunt —some say He is a facet of the Great God Odin, the shadow deep within the heart of the god who wields death; others say He is Odin's adversary, a demon king whose divine counterpart is the god of the sky.'
The ancient Nibelungenlied record that the Wild Hunt King returned from the depths of the void, donning the crown of the King.
'He clashed with lightning and opposed the gods. He abducted Skadi, the most beloved maiden of the gods and the goddess of the snowy mountains. He intended to defile the pure white world, to be the demon king and the terminator of destruction to the ancient order.'
Odin prophesied: When He appears, all things will be replaced.
' History of Norse Mythology '
Boom! Boom! Boom!
In the central courtyard of the Nine Realms, Midgard, layers of lightning tore through the sky and spread across the land, breaking the seemingly eternal desolation and loneliness in the vast world.
Some hunters in the forest stopped in their tracks, shrinking back in fear under the divine power of the lightning; some merchants who traveled between human villages hid directly inside the carriages; some powerful warriors trudged through the snow to worship Thor, the symbol of battle and bravery; and some old men laughed heartily, saying that they had seen the Great God Odin.
Tor himself seemed to be in a great hurry. After rushing up from Jotunheim, he crashed into the top of the World Tree, causing the giant tree that runs through the world of Norse Mythology to shake and make a rustling sound.
'Pass it on!'
Amidst the deafening roar, people faintly heard these words: 'The Giant King has Jotunheim; He has donned the crown of ruler of the dead, the master of death; He calls Himself the ' Wild Hunt.'
'That pure and innocent snow-capped flower has been tainted by the spirits of the dead and the dust of giants.'
' Skadi— '
'They have betrayed us, the gods of Asgard!'
With a humming sound, countless divine figures and images rushed towards the top of the World Tree in an instant.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
With the resounding clang of bells, in the Asgardian realm, within Odin's Platinum Palace, all the gods instantly gathered in this magnificent, radiant, and sacred place.
