Piercing the Heavens
As the abode of the King of the Gods, the great god Odin, it is located at the center of the Asgardian Divine Realm, at the very top of the World Tree, and has always been a place where the gods gather.
Because the palaces here are far more magnificent and splendid than anything on earth. Even the endless, pale snow-capped mountains and the vast sky and sea that make people look up cannot compare to the awe-inspiring feeling this place brings.
The gods loved this palace, just as they respected the majestic yet benevolent Odin.
As Thor carried out his earth-shattering deeds, by the time the flashing lightning entered the palace, all the gods had already gathered in the temple.
Thor stopped and emerged from the lightning.
He had an extremely tall shadow, but his entire body was covered in silver-white armor, with only his head covered in equally silver-white hair.
He holds Mjolnir, the Mjolnir, symbolizing lightning and battle, and his hands and chest are adorned with endlessly spinning, dark blue Rubik's 'Rubik's Cube'.
Among all the gods, He is the closest to the King of the Gods, the Warrior, and also the closest to the World Tree, the God of War.
It is said that Thor, died once nearly 10,000 years ago, but was revived by Odin with the power of the World Tree and given even greater power.
"Oh dear... who has angered the great Thor this time?" Thor had just stepped into the Sacred Platinum Palace, and none of the gods dared to confront him with thunderous threats, except for one person who walked up with a completely unconcerned smile.
"Loki, I don't want to talk to you." Thor's voice came from beneath his armor, deep and muffled, the exact tone of which was impossible to discern.
He looked at the woman, who was slender and wore a light blue long dress that swayed like Azure Sky Curtain. Her golden hair outlined her delicate eyebrows and eyes, but she seemed extremely cynical as she swayed.
But facing such a 'beauty,' Thor only showed disdain. "You're a useless woman pretending to be a woman, you're not qualified to speak to me, Loki!"
"Gods have no gender, and change is my instinct as the God of Mischief!" Loki said without hesitation. As soon as he finished speaking, the slender and beautiful figure disappeared in an instant, leaving only a thin and tall figure.
He wore a felt hat, had a red nose, and was dressed in a red and blue coat, looking just like the 'clown' that everyone knows in later generations—or rather, the clown of later generations originated from Loki, the Norse God of Mischief.
He spread his hands. "Why be so irritable while you're alive? Or is it that the little princess's 'betrayal' that makes you so angry? Do you like her too?"
"Fearlessness and emotions have no effect on me." Thor left these words behind, then shook off Loki and walked inside.
The surrounding gods were indistinct, and then one of them spoke up, "Thor, what exactly is going on?"
Tyr is also a famous Norse god. He is Thor's brother, another 'god of war' Tyr. He is not as indifferent to Tyr and Thor as he is to Loki.
Moreover, at this very moment, all the gods were waiting for Him to speak.
They all wanted to know the details of the betrayal by the Giants, the King of the Wild Hunt, and Skadi, because it concerned the Norse gods.
So Thor spoke—
'In the halls of the gods, Thor loudly warned them that the King of the Underworld had returned with His authority and wrath, and the shadow of the past still lingered on this ancient land that had been shattered. He urged the gods to be on high alert, for the giant who had stolen the name of the Wild Hunt would surely bring disaster and storms.'
'He coveted the heavenly palaces in the name of death; He stole the throne of heaven and earth in the name of holiness; He abducted the purest virgin, He abducted the pristine white snow-capped mountains of Asgard.'
'This is a sign of Ragnarok '.
The gods were horrified.
Only Loki shook his head and made strange noises; among all the gods, only the God of Trickery loved change the most.
Loki said, "That feeling is awful. This land has been frozen for too long, solidified for too long. It's time to move it—"
"I'll go and speak to the gods." Thor ignored Loki, simply leaving these words behind before turning around as if to push open a side door.
"No need, I know." A faint, ethereal voice rang out, its flapping sounds echoing all around, while black crows stood atop the stone pillars and eaves of the hall.
Ravens are among the messengers of the Odin, and they conveyed the will of King of Gods Zeus: "Be on high alert, and do not provoke that person for the time being."
"The time has come." As soon as the words fell, the crows scattered, leaving only the gods in the hall looking at each other. Thor gripped Mjolnir tightly in his hand, his face hidden behind a heavy mask, revealing little emotion.
Don't provoke that person for now.
So...
"If we don't provoke them, then we can always clean up the traitors, right?" Thor was never a calm and collected person to begin with.
As the God of War, He yearns even more to fight against the strong.
Whether or not to provoke Him, in His view, there has never been a second option!
He did indeed obey the will of Odin.
I won't 'actively' provoke Rovi!
Loki's eyes darted around, and a strange, eerie smile crept across his face.
"I won't say anything..."
"Hmm, I see. It seems I guessed right." Jotunheim smiled at Rovi, "You gods don't really care about anything."
You already know, so why are you asking me?
Skadi's eyes widened slightly as she looked at the 'boy' in front of her, who had a smile on his face but whose deathly aura was growing stronger.
Rovi patted the fluffy hairs on his shoulder, and the Giants around him lay prostrate, awaiting his command.
Above them hung the roots of the World Tree, which seemed to have fallen from the heavens, casting dark and terrifying shadows against the ever-yellow dome of Jotunheim.
The parched earth, the broken rocks, and the barren riverbed stretch out with mottled tracks.
The giant's dwelling was desolate and terrifying.
But that's all in the past.
Rovi said he would lead the Giants back to the sky.
So if he says it, he must do it.
"What... do you want to do?" Skadi suddenly asked, somewhat puzzled. Bringing a giant to the Midgard of Reality was something that seemed impossible.
Regardless of the gods' disapproval, the World Tree's own rejection alone is already an almost irresistible force.
Because it was planted by the great god Odin, who brought back the Norse Age of Gods gods from the brink of collapse ten thousand years ago due to the disaster brought by the Harvest Star Vanguard. Moreover, nine dimensional realms grow on this tree. Even the great god Odin once said that once it grows into the World Tree, even he himself could not shake it.
Rovi is very strong. He can fight Thor without being at a disadvantage and even force Thor to retreat briefly. His strength is beyond Skadi's imagination.
But the goddess of the snow mountain still didn't believe he could surpass the great god Odin.
So she cowered in front of Rovi's.
Beneath her long purple hair, her delicate face still bore the stubbornness she had shown when she was being interrogated earlier. Her arms were wrapped around herself, and her body was lowered, causing her buttocks to arch backward beneath her clothes, highlighting a smooth, butterfly-like curve of her hips.
Rovi glanced at her sideways and couldn't help but laugh.
He kept Skadi around to extract information from her, so asking questions was only natural. Although Skadi consistently avoided the questions and refused to answer, it must be said that the naive goddess was no different from a young girl in the human world, especially since she had been pampered and spoiled before.
Rovi could get the answer just from her expression.
Are the Norse gods scattered across the land like you?
I won't tell you.
'Hmm... then it exists.'
'?'
'Can the Norse gods maintain their full glory on the land?'
'I won't say.'
That means it's still possible.
'you...'
This bizarre, mind-reading-like communication left Skadi with a certain amount of trauma.
Of course, that was before.
As for the present... she subconsciously asked, what does Rovi want to do?
His method is actually very simple.
This trip was ultimately different from the previous ones. Not to mention Mesopotamian Plains and Greece, even just a short time before, Rovi had not officially set foot on the land of Northern Europe.
Because at that time he was just a dead man.
The deceased can leave a shadow in this world.
And now, he is the King of the Wild Hunt.
They plundered a side of the great god Odin Undead and the King of Storms.
So...
"Let the world witness what it looks like to be 'dead' by the erosion of a storm!"
With his cloak billowing and the wind howling, Rovi raised his long spear.
He will cover Midgard with the power of the Wild Hunt, and he will erode the world with death... With this one shot, he will pierce a hole in the Midgard world!
