• Wang Nan obtained his first Soul Ring from a Jade Scale Python, reached level 13, and later trained until he had a Second Soul Ring and reached rank twenty-six.
• Wang Nan entered Shrek Academy, passed Sun He's assessment, and teamed with Gongyang Mo and Ling Luochen for the New Student Assessment.

Wang Nan joined Shrek’s Oversight Group, grew stronger after absorbing a rare soul bone and a Tyrant Dragon Soul Ring, and became a reserve contestant for the Soul Fighting Competition. The arc ended with his team rescuing missing girls in Linhai City and capturing members of the Profound Darkness Sect.

• Wang Nan joined the Shrek Oversight Group and helped Xuan Zi’s students eliminate Evil Soul Masters who had slaughtered a village.
• Wang Nan passed the Soul Engineer Promotion Assessment with Lin Xiao’s Thruster and was selected as a reserve contestant for the Soul Fighting Competition.
• Wang Nan bought and absorbed the Crimson-faced Ape Right Arm Bone, remaining in Deep Meditation for three months and missing the competition as Zhang Lexuan led Shrek to victory.

• Wang Nan passed the Inner Courtyard assessment by defeating Tai Yuan, met Mu En at Sea God Pavilion, and learned about the Inner Courtyard’s training and ranking system.
• Wang Nan rescued Dai Yueheng from a masked Soul Douluo, brought him to the White Tiger Duke’s Mansion, and gave Huo Yuhao a life-force elixir to help his sick mother escape.
• Wang Nan absorbed a twenty-thousand-year mutated white tiger’s soul ring, reached Soul Power Level fifty-three, and defeated Wu Ming in a sparring match.
• Wang Nan and Gongyang Mo went on an Oversight Group mission, tracked Evil Soul Masters near Dawn City, and discovered children being held in a village.
• Wang Nan and Gongyang Mo fought Ji Tongxuan and the Soul Kings, and Wang Nan killed Ji Tongxuan after he temporarily reached Soul Saint cultivation.

As Shrek prepared for the Soul Fighting Competition, he led the team through training and an Inspection Mission, then went to meet an unexpected guest at the Star Emperor Hotel.

• The True Dragon Skeleton transformed Wang Nan’s Martial Soul into the Heavenly Forging Floating Life Dragon, and he emerged from a year of Deep Meditation at rank sixty.
• Wang Nan helped Zhang Lexuan’s team survive a Star Dou Great Forest attack, then absorbed the Eclipse Moon Mad Mastiff’s Soul Bone and reunited with Wang Yan and Wang Dong.
