• Wang Nan captained Shrek Academy through the competition, where Ma Xiaotao’s Ultimate Fire overwhelmed Sun Moon Royal Academy and Wang Nan defeated Jiang Peng to secure the championship.
• Xu Jiawei awarded Shrek three Soul Bones, Gold Soul Coins, and the God Sealing Platform containing the Snow Empress embryo, while Mu En warned that bonding with the embryo would be dangerous.
• Pan Huai revealed the Qian Gu Family’s history and asked Wang Nan to help restore it, then led Wang Nan and Pan Yang to the ruins of Spirit Hall in the Heavenly Spirit Mountain Range.
• Wang Nan overcame the ancestral guardians on the sixth and seventh floors, challenged the eighth-floor guardian alone, and defeated it as the ancient structure collapsed.

After Mu En's death, Long Xiaoyao revealed more about his past with Mu En and Ye Xishui, and Wang Nan continued north toward Dongyang City.

• Wang Nan crossed the ocean with Yan Shaozhe, entered Dragon Valley, and learned from the Dragon God about his past and the plot to steal his power.
• Wang Nan absorbed Dragon Souls, gained a Golden Soul Ring, and returned from the mountains after at least half a year had passed.
• Wang Nan and Yan Shaozhe returned to Douluo Continent, where Wang Nan fought Evil Soul Masters before Mu En asked him to stop the Holy Spirit Cult.
• Mu En named Xuan Zi his successor, stabilized Beibei, and died as the Golden Ancient Tree appeared over Sea God Island.

• Wang Nan tracked Evil Soul Masters from Dongyang City into the Ice Sea, where he met Long Aotian and followed him to an underwater graveyard.
• Wang Nan fought strange fish among the graveyard’s bones, discovered a powerful Soul Beast beneath the seabed, and later stole several treasures, including a deep-blue skull Soul Bone.
• Wang Nan helped Wang Xing obtain a sixth Soul Ring from a Dragon Blood Golden Silk Bamboo, then met the Dragon God’s will through the Three-Eyed Golden Lion and Di Tian.
• Wang Nan helped the Three-Eyed Golden Lion confront the Zhongli Brothers, then condensed a Soul Core and became a Titled Douluo.
• Wang Nan returned to Shrek Academy and gave Huo Yuhao the Blade of Life in exchange for knowledge of Magic, which he used to develop a new cultivation method and absorb the skull Soul Bone.

Wang Nan reunited with the Shrek group after the attack on Mingdu, then went to Sunset Forest with Ma Xiaotao to stop the poisonous miasma. They found Youxiang Qiluo in the valley, where Wang Nan’s intervention helped trigger its first Heavenly Tribulation, leaving him to shield it as the lightning struck.

• Wang Nan refused to join the attack on Mingdu, then escaped the Valley of Asking Love for Heaven and Earth with the others as Tang San and the Silver Dragon King fought and the Divine Realm passage closed.
• Wang Nan and Ma Xiaotao defeated the pursuing Evil Soul Masters, then Wang Nan overwhelmed Ye Yulin’s forces with Dragon Souls and a devastating staff strike before reuniting with Dai Hao and the Shrek group.
