In the blink of an eye, it was April 10th, Imperial Calendar 1157. Monday. The weather had begun to turn hot.
Two more days had passed since Sean attended the medal ceremony. During that time, aside from completing his own knightly training, he had supervised his attendants and servants in their training as well. Occasionally, he made some Perfume himself, and of course, he did not forget to play those naughty games with Alice.
Early in the morning, Sean climbed out of Alice's soft arms. After changing into training clothes, he left the room. Today was the day he had previously agreed upon with Dean Mor—the day he would return to Noble Academy to complete the enrollment procedures for the new school year and pay his tuition, even though he would not often appear at the academy over the coming year.
After washing up, Sean headed toward the dining room. Although Alice was still lounging in bed, Aunt Sarah, the cook, and Nina, the young maid, rose early every day to prepare food for everyone. Today was no exception. The moment he stepped into the dining room, he saw the mother and daughter already busy making breakfast.
"Young Master, you're here..." Seeing Sean arrive, Aunt Sarah immediately put down her work, rose, and gave him a slight bow as she spoke. Afterward, she discreetly tugged at her dazed daughter Nina beside her.
"Young Master... g-good morning..." The girl's soft, timid greeting soon rang out in the dining room.
"Morning." Sean smiled and nodded at the mother and daughter. Then he instructed, "Aunt Sarah, please prepare my breakfast." With that, he walked over to the dining table and sat down.
"Yes, Young Master. Please wait a moment. It'll be ready right away..." Upon hearing Sean's instruction, Aunt Sarah immediately answered respectfully.
