"Stop looking. Until Zarathus finds a way to resist the curses and diseases a Demoness can send back along Spirit Body Threads to 'infect' him, he won't leave his marionettes lying around."
Standing before Klein, Angel spoke coldly. Her black dress was exactly the same as the one he had seen her wearing in Backlund just minutes earlier.
But unlike the Demoness he remembered, who was aloof around outsiders yet always smiled when they were alone, the Angel on the beach was utterly cold, even somewhat resistant to his presence. He could tell from her arms folded defensively across her chest and the several meters she kept between them.

You worked closely with her from the very beginning, and you have a gentle temperament..."
