After entering Berdan City and discovering traces of the Trunsoest Brass Book, Klein had conducted several experiments. Though not particularly rigorous, they were highly targeted and had confirmed many of this living Sealed Artifact's properties.
The most important was that it would add new laws to close loopholes in existing ones based on actual feedback from the current laws, and it would prioritize its own safety.
This was the greatest difference between it and Dream City's Hand of Order characteristic. Since the latter lacked sentience, it needed a "consul" to handle gaps in the law flexibly. That had allowed Amon's Avatar to exploit a loophole and transform himself into the city's ruler.
Precisely because of this, when the Historical Projection of the Night Emperor Memorial Hall descended here, the Trunsoest Brass Book had hurriedly added laws to close the loopholes involving theft of Beyonder abilities and Beyonder characteristics. It had also incidentally "fixed" the method Angel had once used in Dream City—using a Mirror Person to answer prayers and inflict harm from a distance.
However, making the Mirror World part of the area covered by the curfew did not fall into this category. Klein therefore immediately realized that a High Sequence Demoness had entered Berdan and was using the Mirror World to evade the curfew.
Even though he could not currently contact Sefirah Castle, Klein's spiritual intuition told him that she was Angel.
At that thought, he immediately turned to Arianna beside him, who had come to Berdan while tracking "0-02" and the defected Archbishop Larion, and spoke rapidly:
"Angel should be here too. Can you find her?"
He did not explain why they needed to find her, nor did he dwell on whether Arianna could locate Angel. He feared that even a slight delay would give the Trunsoest Brass
