But the most important reason was that one of the three Mystic Seer characteristics that constituted Klein had originally belonged to Zarathus. To resist the influence of the Original Creator and the Celestial Worthy, Klein had never truly erased that portion of the mental imprint.
This gave Zarathus the chance to sense Klein's current condition. The fellow who called himself the Fool had clearly underestimated the influence of the mental imprint within a pure Beyonder characteristic that no one had accommodated before. Although he had barely regained his balance, he would still need a little time to truly escape his current state.
This was Zarathus's perfect opportunity.
