Normally, the range within which a Sequence 3 could respond to their honorific name would not extend beyond an area the size of Backlund and its surroundings. At sea, that would be roughly the area of Blue Mountain Island, where Bayam was located. Any farther away, and the target of the honorific name would be unable to hear it or respond.
But for a Demoness who could freely enter and leave the Mirror World, there was an exception: when reciting her honorific name, setting up an altar, arranging a ritual, and using a mirror with a mystical connection to that Demoness as the ritual's focal point could extend the range of her response to almost the entire world.
This shortcut took advantage of the fact that information and power traveled far faster through the Mirror World than through the Physical World. Naturally, Angel would also have to enter that other world to respond.
However, only a handful of people knew her honorific name, including Klein, Helene, and Shermane. Even Trissy did not know it. All of them could contact her through messengers, so in an emergency, they would not use an honorific name that might not even reach her.
Angel therefore suspected that whoever was reciting her honorific name was probably testing the effects of a "bestowal" ritual, perhaps to make a charm imbued with higher-level power.
Then it could only be Shermane... I'll go into the Mirror World and respond to her later.
As she considered this, Angel followed up on the subject of honorific names Bernadette had raised with a question of her own:
"If I want to prepare anchors for Sequence 2, how many people would I need to recite and spread my honorific name?"
"There is no exact number. It depends on each angel's circumstances when
