Mother Goddess of Depravity, Origin of Evil, The Undying, Filthy Mother Nest... Could a single Beyonder characteristic hold corruption from so many Outer Deities...? Angel muttered, realizing that all these titles belonged to the Mother Goddess of Depravity. Like an honorific name, they included descriptions of her authorities.
Angel repeated this Outer Deity's honorific name, separating each phrase with interjections and irregular pauses to avoid having it treated as a complete honorific name and drawing the Mother Goddess of Depravity's attention. Then she looked at Anne and found her frowning as well. Clearly, she had never heard this string of evil, bizarre names before.
Recalling how Amon's Avatar had teased her earlier about swiftly bearing offspring, as well as Arrodes's descriptions of the various sefirot, Angel asked:
"Is the sefirah corresponding to this Great Old One the Brood Hive? Does its authority include powers related to childbirth?"
"That's right." Amon nodded, his gaze still resting on the most severely corrupted characteristic, the Barren Matriarch. "Since you know about Great Old Ones, you should know that when the Original Creator awoke and split apart, he drew in some of the sefirot and characteristics from the Outer Deities he had created in the universe... The Brood Hive was one of them."
"This is also why, among the Outer Deities, the Mother Goddess of Depravity is more proactive than the other Great Old Ones about encroaching on reality. If the other Outer Deities are merely interested in accommodating some high-level characteristics, she is a victim of the Original Creator..."
*A victim... That sounds rather strange, but if I don't consider it from the perspective of humans and the native gods, the Mother Goddess of Depravity, who had part of her sefirah and Beyonder characteristics drawn away, really does fit that description. It's perfectly
