Back in Bayam, they helped Danitz kill Steel Maviti, then learned from Azik that the mysteries beneath Bansy and Trier should remain untouched until they became Demigods.

• Angel and the Mandated Punishers raided Bishop Miller’s sacrificial ritual, killed him, and rescued Donna and the other captives, but the altar transported Angel to Trier.
• Angel escaped the catacombs with Pierre’s help, met Sevillea and Laura, and found Roselle’s diary pages while Church pursuers tracked her.
• Angel returned to Bansy Harbor through the ritual, rejoined Klein, and realized that her three days in Trier had taken place alongside her life aboard the White Agate.

She destroyed Pierce’s corrupted body and entrusted the dangerous Night Emblem to Mr. Fool, while Klein wondered how much stronger she had become.

• Angel formed a messenger contract with Wensa, and she and Klein assessed their spoils from Steel Maviti’s group before planning to target guilty pirates.

Angel and Klein pursued Tracy for the Death documents, then Angel arranged a new venture for Helene and joined Alger on a voyage toward Nameless Island. They found dangerous ruins and began fighting a hypnotic tree as they sought its secrets.

• Angel returned from Para Island with Pierce Turner’s contaminated Beyonder Characteristic entrusted to Mr. Fool, and Azik carried her through the Spirit World to Klein.
• Angel and Klein joined Edwina aboard the Golden Dream, learned more about the Admiral of Blood and the Key of Death, and tracked Helene to Tracy’s ship.
• Angel and Klein infiltrated the Black Death, defeated Tracy, and learned that she had given Qilangos’s Death documents to the Demoness Sect.
• Katarina captured Angel and Klein, but Azik arrived, and Angel revealed herself as Lola Swann and threw her Calamity Charm toward Katarina as Azik took them away.

After returning to Bayam, they confronted the truth of their identities and followed separate jobs, while Angel’s attempts to check on Klein ended in matching strange dreams.

• Angel, Klein, and Alger fought a giant spider on Primitive Island, then sold and traded the spoils while learning from Lola’s letter that Katerina Pelle was her mother.
