Angel and Klein defeated Amon’s avatars in Backlund, freed their victims, and divided the recovered Worms of Time. Angel then secured military ties, gathered allies and intelligence on the Fountain of Youth, and persuaded the Tarot Club to create a layer of subordinate agents.

  • Leonard identified a Witch of the Demoness Sect as the serial killer, while Hvin Rambis tried to manipulate Angel and Angel concealed that she had seen through him.
  • Angel and Klein used Will Auceptin’s warning to prepare a trap for Amon, and Amon’s avatars attacked Angel at the house on Douton Street.

Angel advanced to Unaging, pursued leads about the Great Smog and Roselle’s mausoleums, and helped Audrey expose Hvin Rambis’s schemes. The arc ended with Hvin dead and his confession linking King George III and the royal family to the Great Smog and a hidden ruin near Backlund.
