Ywen defeated Precht and brought Grimoire Heart into Fairy Tail’s orbit, then turned his attention to Tartaros and its demons. After overwhelming Mard Geer and taking the Book of E.N.D., he set out with Seilah to find Nirvana.

• Ywen returned from absorbing the Dragon’s Tear, defeated Precht, and brought him and Grimoire Heart’s airship to Fairy Tail.
• Makarov and Precht reconciled, while Precht misunderstood Fairy Tail’s rowdy guild life and suspected Makarov of plotting world conquest.
• Ywen arranged a five-on-five exhibition match, and Fairy Tail’s Gildarts, Laxus, Mirajane, Erza, and Kurnugi defeated Grimoire Heart’s team.
• Precht left with his followers and renamed their guild Light Heart, while King Toma’s unexpected membership in Fairy Tail bewildered the royal court.
• After Tartaros began targeting the Magic Council and Fairy Tail, Ywen captured Seilah and learned that Natsu was E.N.D., Zeref’s younger brother.
• Ywen brought Mirajane and Seilah to the Council, then took them to Tartaros, where Mirajane absorbed the Anima of the Underworld Beast, Jackal, and Tempester.
• Ywen defeated Mard Geer, took the Book of E.N.D., and told Mirajane to absorb Mard Geer’s Anima.
• Seilah guessed that the remaining Nine Demon Gates had gone after Nirvana, and Ywen asked her to lead him there.

Ywen brought Wendy, Carla, and Silver into Fairy Tail, then revealed the origins and limits of Dragon Slayer Magic during the Tenrou Island S-Class Examination. After the guild welcomed Mavis and August, Ywen crushed Phantom Lord’s attempt to threaten his family and brought Gajeel to Fairy Tail as Erza’s weapon.

• Ywen destroyed Nirvana, helped Wendy and Carla join Fairy Tail, and reunited Silver with Gray after revealing how he had kept Silver from dissipating.
• Silver and Ul joined Fairy Tail, and their chaotic first days led into Makarov’s announcement of the S-Class Mage Examination on Tenrou Island.
• Aileen and Selene’s clash brought the guild to Elentir, where Ywen revealed the history of Dragon Slayer Magic, Aileen’s role in its creation, and the power of dragonification.
• Ywen and Kurnugi tested Natsu and Mystogan, while the other candidates faced their examiners, and Makarov named Silver, Ultear, and Selene as the new S-Class Mages.
• The guild celebrated with Mavis and its former members, and Ywen welcomed August into Fairy Tail, giving him a way to speak with Mavis.
• Phantom Lord plotted to kidnap Irene and Erza, but Ywen and Gildarts defeated its invading mages, and Ywen destroyed its guilds across Fiore.
• Erza defeated Gajeel with her electromagnetic Dragon Slayer Magic, and Ywen brought him back to Fairy Tail as her living weapon.

Ywen helped Fairy Tail navigate guild rivalries, a contest in Edolas, and a threatened war before bringing the Dragon Slayer Mages to Stella. There, he recruited Animus into his plans against Acnologia, while Aileen and Selene ended the arc arguing over Stella’s crystals.

• Ywen defeated Lyon’s ice creations in a fight with Gajeel, then offered Gajeel a chance to train with him and asked Anna to let Fairy Tail raise Sting and Rogue.
• The Council disbanded Phantom Lord, removed Jose Porla from the Saint Ten, and ranked Ywen first, while August revealed he was Zeref and Mavis’s son and questioned Ywen about Fairy Tail’s supposed ambitions.
• Ultear and Seilah stopped the guild’s naked-mage debacle, and Ywen later took Erza, Laxus, Mirajane, and Kagura to Edolas for a guild competition.
• Laxus and Mirajane won their matches, and Ywen destroyed Wisdom’s Super Dragon Knight before returning to Earth-land with his companions.
• Ywen ended the threat from a million-strong coalition army with his Haki, then took Erza and others to Stella, where King Animus prepared to confront the Dragon Slayer Mages.
• Ywen’s group arrived in Stella aboard Precht’s airship, survived Animus’s attack on the ship, and exposed Chaixiu’s attempt to control Kurnugi.
• Ywen restored Animus’s true form and offered to help separate her from Sanya if she joined Fairy Tail, then convinced her to work with him against Acnologia.
• Ywen explained the Dragon Slayer generations and recruited Animus into his plan, while Selene raised Stella’s crystal vein and Aileen cast Attach Magic on the kingdom’s land.

Ywen helped August choose Fairy Tail, then led a force of Dragons against Alvarez’s invasion and brought the empire under August’s control. After August became Guild Master and Makarov resumed the role, Fairy Tail’s celebrations escalated into a tournament after Selene moved Magnolia Town to Elentir.

• Aileen claimed the flying Stella Kingdom, Selene drew the moon close to it, and Animus later joined Fairy Tail as a purple cat after Ywen separated him from Sanya.
• Makarov’s S-Class examination ended when August defeated the candidates and destroyed the guild, then accepted Mavis’s invitation to join Fairy Tail and become its Guild Master.
• August warned Ywen that the Alvarez Empire was preparing to invade Ishgar, and Ywen accepted missions to defeat its army and publicly beat Larcade.
• Ywen, Aileen, Selene, Igneel, Kurnugi, and Animus confronted the Alvarez fleet, and Ywen and Aileen knocked out its soldiers before Ywen defeated Larcade and the Spriggan Shields.
• August persuaded the surviving Spriggan Shields to abandon an attack on Ishgar and bring Alvarez under his control, while revealing that he was Fairy Tail’s Fourth Guild Master.
• Makarov announced his retirement and named August as his successor, but August’s supposed takeover proved to be a prank arranged by Ywen that left Makarov Guild Master again.
• Fairy Tail’s members turned Makarov’s endurance race into a destructive brawl, and Selene moved Magnolia Town from Earth-land to Elentir.
• Ywen joined the Brawl Tournament after Makarov objected to it, while August abandoned his promise to stop the fights after seeing a ghost girl eagerly awaiting them.
