The next day, in the small Spirit Hall building in the village.

"Lone Wolf, possession." Following Su Yuntao's low shout, his body swelled. His exposed arms became covered in fur, his eyes turned a dusky green, and his ten fingers became sharp claws that glinted coldly. Two rings of light, one white and one yellow, flickered with every breath.

"All right, everyone, come up one at a time. Don't be afraid. Martial Soul Awakening will be over very quickly."

As one child after another completed their Martial Soul Awakenings, fewer and fewer children remained in the room. In the end, only Tang San and Gu You were left.

"All right, which of you two will go first?" Su Yuntao's voice carried a hint of fatigue, but he still wanted to complete both their Martial Soul Awakenings before going to rest.

"You go first." Gu You gently pushed Tang San. Tang San turned around, and Gu You gave him a thumbs-up.

For some reason, Tang San, who had still been somewhat nervous, suddenly calmed down. He smiled and nodded at Gu You before walking toward Su Yuntao.

Just like in the original story, Tang San awakened Blue Silver Grass as his Martial Soul. Gu You also noticed a faint glow coming from Tang San's secretly concealed left hand, which he hadn't extended. It should still be a Twin Martial Soul.

Su Yuntao, who had been shocked by Tang San's Innate Full Soul Power, composed himself and beckoned to Gu You. "Come over. You're the last one."

Tang San didn't leave the building either. He stood to one side and watched Gu You undergo his Martial Soul Awakening. Clenching both fists, he said, "Come on, Xiao You. You can do it."

As the pale golden light shone once again, Gu You, standing within the light, gently closed his eyes. A crisp sound like an eggshell cracking suddenly rang out in his mind, followed by a tremendous roar.

"Roar~~~"

Influenced by the roar in his mind, Gu You also raised his head to the sky and let out a tremendous roar resembling that of a Tyrant Dragon.

Accompanying the roar, a tail grew from Gu You's coccyx, roughly one and a half times his height in length. Spikes grew along his back following his spine, extending almost to the end of the tail. The tip of the tail was ring-shaped and carried five sharp spines. His feet grew larger, tearing through his shoes, while his fingers and toes lengthened simultaneously and transformed into sharp claws. His mouth, raised toward the sky in a roar, split open along the corners, and his mouth filled with densely packed, shark-like fangs.

After roaring, Gu You slowly lowered his head and opened his eyes, which had become golden vertical pupils. He reached toward the blue crystal ball in Su Yuntao's hand.

The blue crystal ball shone with dazzling light. "Inn... Innate Full Soul Power. Good heavens, Holy Soul Village has produced two people with Innate Full Soul Power at once."

P.S. The Martial Soul has finally awakened. I believe everyone who has seen the title of this book knows what this Martial Soul is. As a bookworm and a Duelist, I was genuinely excited while writing this part. The protagonist's appearance was generally based on Doctor Lizard from The Amazing Spider-Man, specifically the Ultimate Conductor Tyranno version. He isn't handsome, but he should bring an immediate sense of fear and oppression at a glance.
