Background

Gu You was sent to the Douluo Continent by a mysterious organization and retained knowledge from another world. Before awakening his martial soul, he relied on reading, research, and the knowledge he had carried over to understand his new world. He began reading the public books of Nuoding City’s Martial Soul Hall at a very young age and had reportedly finished its collection before his awakening. 30 170

He befriended Tang San in Holy Soul Village partly out of a desire to survive in a dangerous world, but the relationship developed into genuine brotherhood.
