The air also became more humid, and the temperature here was even several degrees lower than outside.
At last, Tang Ya stopped again. This was a valley—or, more precisely, a pool.
The water was so clear that she could see the bottom. Quiet and deep, it resembled an enormous sapphire.
On one side of the valley, a waterfall roughly twenty meters wide hung like a jade ribbon from a cliff nearly two hundred meters high. The thunderous roar came from where it crashed into the pool.
