Satoru Gojo was the strongest Six Eyes sorcerer of his era and, alongside Suguru Geto, was once regarded as one of the Jujutsu World’s strongest figures. His confidence in his own supremacy was considered an essential part of why he stood at the pinnacle of Jujutsu Sorcery. 88 90

During the Tokyo Spirit Disaster, a modified Imperial Style Taizan Fukun Ritual used the sacrifice of thirty-three thousand people to curse Gojo to death. He entered the Barrier alone and died while preventing White Face from completely opening the Gate to the Yellow Springs. 88 92 98

Gojo’s death destabilized Tokyo’s balance between humans and Cursed Spirits. His resentment, powerful Cursed Energy, body, and spirit became the embryo of a new King of Curses rather than leaving behind cursed objects like Two-faced Shōnen. 88
