Background

White Face survived her first trial mission and rapidly improved by gathering intelligence, analyzing derivative-world plots, and exploiting overlooked routes to rewards. Her performance attracted the Sage, who recruited her; within several more missions, Shigure bestowed a Card upon her. 598

Her principal asset became the Destiny Sequence Card Fate·Lin Guan, which let her identify Plot Characters with unusual destinies, fulfill their intended roles, and seize those destinies for herself. The ability gave her access to plot factions and advantages before other Reincarnators could react, although she had to bear the fate of the person she replaced. 599

Before the Tokyo Spirit Disaster, White Face manipulated and collapsed more than ten Reincarnator teams. Her most infamous target was Fifth Element: she formed a temporary alliance with Kai's team, betrayed them at the end of a mission, and caused severe casualties.
