As the earth trembled, Clark swayed slightly and stared in astonishment at Jino, who was fighting Barbatos in the distance.
Their battle had long since reached its climax. The shockwaves from every move and every clash of magic had nearly reduced everything in this land to rubble.
"This is impossible!"
Barbatos raised both arms to block the punch, only to be knocked over by a kick from Jino.
It was rather absurd. As the Dark Lord, he lacked extensive experience in close-quarters combat.
But then again, Barbatos had never encountered someone as monstrous as Jino.
His enormous body crashed onto the vast earth. Barbatos's hood fell away, revealing an ugly dragon's head. Beneath its fangs came a piercing scream. "This is impossible!"
How could he, Barbatos, be defeated by a human—especially the humans he despised most?
"Heh. With Lucifer's Power and Daniel's power, my victory was inevitable."
Facing the dragon's unwillingness to accept defeat, Jino controlled the golden giant as it walked toward him. The giant golden greatsword in its hand blazed with dazzling light.
"And now, it's time for you to pay for your sins!"
The young man roared. As the winds and clouds churned, even the heavens seemed to sense his killing intent, and thunder accompanied his roar.
"Die!"
The greatsword howled as it tore through the clouds and earth, piercing the dragon's body amid Barbatos's screams.
"Ah!"
What kind of cry was that? No words could describe its piercing horror. The terrified screams of countless people being tortured erupted from every inch of Barbatos's body.
Dark, violent energy continuously poured out, surging and spreading through Gotham City at a terrifying speed.
"No. This monster's power is too immense. If he completely explodes within the city, he'll contaminate the entire world!"
