Background / History

In his previous life, Shen Ye served as the Ziwei High Priest of the Lieshan Tribe. He possessed divine blood, reached the pinnacle of the Human Realm, and was willing to remain in darkness to protect the surviving members of his tribe. After the others fled, he was left coughing blood alone. 1 2

Following his rebirth after being cast into Jumu’s core, Shen Ye found himself physically reverted to the appearance of a twelve- or thirteen-year-old. Although his prior soul had only possessed ordinary genius-level comprehension, his rebirth greatly improved his understanding of sorcery’s principles and laws. 2
