Arc 1Nirvana and the River of Time

Lu Jun saved his brothers through Nirvana, then cultivated while the Demon and Witch races prepared for war and the Saints journeyed to the beginning of Creation. The Three Pure Ones sought Pangu’s acknowledgment, and Houtu arrived too late to change what had happened to them.

  • Lu Jun used the Star Evolution System to save his eight dying brothers, evolved into an Innate Divine Being, and defeated Da Yi’s Witch Race warriors before Tai Yi carried the brothers’ eggs to the Sun Star.

Arc 2Houtu’s Path to Reincarnation

Lu Jun discovered a way to grow stars as vessels for incarnations, while Houtu confronted the Witch Race’s responsibility for the devastation of the Great Desolation. Houtu returned to Pangu Hall determined to pursue reincarnation and challenge her clan to change, leaving the Ancestral Witches facing Zhen Yuanzi’s warning of their destruction.

  • Houtu and Nuwa entered Pangu’s axe light, while Lu Jun began considering a path of manifesting countless incarnations.
  • Tai Yi brought Minghe and Zhen Yuanzi together, and Minghe returned Hong Yun’s Nine-Nine Soul Scattering Gourd to Zhen Yuanzi to ease their feud.
  • Minghe explained his Blood God Son method, and Lu Jun used his system and Sun Divine Fire to nurture a Star Embryo into a star that bore his origin.
  • Zhen Yuanzi realized he could use Ginseng Fruits as incarnations and agreed to set aside his grievance with Minghe, while Hongjun noticed Lu Jun’s growing stars could earn him a place in the Department of Dou.

Arc 3The Witch Race’s New Purpose

Houtu halted the Witch-Demon war, negotiated a truce, and led the Witch Race toward restoring the Western Lands. Guided by Lu Jun, she began to see the Witches’ role in governing the Earthly Dao, while the Demon Race considered Lu Jun’s warning about Jieyin and Zhunti.

  • Di Jiang called off the Witch-Demon war after Houtu persuaded the Ancestral Witches that continuing would doom their people, and Houtu proposed taking and restoring the Western Lands.
  • The Witch Race marched west, while Di Jun kept the Demon Race from intervening and met Houtu to negotiate a truce.
  • Houtu told the Demon Race that Jieyin and Zhunti had plotted against both races and destroyed Nuwa, and Tai Yi confirmed that the River of Time held no trace of the Six Saints.
  • Houtu revealed that her truce with Di Jun arose from a transaction with Lu Jun, who had developed a method for nurturing independent Star Eggs and pursuing his path.

Arc 4The Human Emperor’s Path

Di Jun developed a Wish Incarnation Method to protect the Demon Race, while Lu Jun guided Fuxi toward becoming the Human Emperor and building a cooperative Human Race. Fuxi began teaching the humans and then approached the Ancestral Witches about the Western Lands’ lingering deathly qi.

  • The Witches restored the Western Lands, while Houtu sensed Saintly Might near Mount Sumeru and Di Jiang prepared the Twelve Heavenly Gods and Demons Array in case the Saints attacked.
  • Hongjun sent Jieyin and Zhunti’s True Spirit imprints farther down the River of Time, and Lu Jun learned that the Two Sages of the West had been delayed from awakening.
  • Lu Jun described a future western sect that gathered followers through promises of blessings, leading Di Jun and Tai Yi to deduce that its Vow Power sustained its avatars.
  • Di Jun used the Demon Race’s voluntary wishes to create an incarnation through Red Feather Golden Eye Eagle, then developed a method to channel Sun Divine Fire to protect demons who prayed to him.
